So much fun! We weren’t sure what to expect but whatever it was would have been insufficient. From the decked out hippie van to the Christmas carols to the dialog, and the stunning lights displays, everything came together to create a special Christmas memory. The Santa hats and candy canes were nice touches, too. Judith was a hoot! This is a must do if you’re visiting during the holidays.

Juju was our guide, a German Lady with an encyclopaedic knowledge of the City and a great sense of humour. Our 2 hour tour was absolutely brilliant, covering Presidio, Crissy Field, The Golden Gate, Sutra Baths, Baker Beach, Haight Ashbury, Fillmore, Golden Gate Park, the Painted Ladies, a drive down the Lombard Street Zigzags, Little Italy and much, much more. Every question was answered and I cannot recommend this tour more highly. There cannot be a better and more imaginative tour of SFO.

Tara was the tour guide extraordinaire! She narrated this fabulous trip through the streets of San Francisco, pointing out many wonderful places, and sharing lots of fun facts with us. With music "from back in the day!" playing simultaneously!! t was a perfect day, and I would highly recommend you make this a part of your visit to SF !!!!

The promo material for this tour sounded good but only touches the surface of how much of San Fran you can see. We were on an 830 a.m. departure so we avoided any traffic issues which means you see more.
Tara had great banter, good information on city history (current and past), and a good musical soundtrack. Nice to get some reviews on hidden food gems as we travel past or shops not to miss.
This is an excellent tour to get the vibe of the city and see some of the more remote locations while the compact city highlights are easily accessed through public transport, including the cable car.
Great vans, a slice of history and definitely turns heads, especially on Lombard st!

We were so exited to experience what they advertised.
No luck. They tout in their advert two stops for photo opportunities. Our driver didn’t stop once. Didn’t say anything about this until the end, and
only when we questioned her. She said you only get one stop and it was too busy to stop. Not even an apology. Felt like false advertising!
She also barely engaged with us, read from a script on her phone while driving and turned the music up in between so loud we couldn’t even talk with each other.
Basically seemed like she just wanted to get through the tour and be done.
I tried calling after, left a message, wrote an email with no response from anyone.
There is no way I would recommend. If I could reach someone I would request a refund.
Other family in the car said they felt the same.

Awesome - just book it!!!
We were short on time in SF and hate the idea of big buses so decided to give this a short. Our driver was amazing - she was super funny, informative and made sure we saw everything! Yes it’s more expensive than the step on and off busses but a million times better.
Highly recommend 👍

Wow! What a fantastic, entertaining and educational tour led by “Tara”!!!
Despite our VW bus having a breakdown at San Fran park (by the Golden Gate Bridge) our trip was great fun!!! The owner brought us another bus and we were on our way again.
I would HIGHLY recommend this tour (and Tara)!

What a brilliant afternoon with our funny and informative driver Nick. Would highly recommend this tour to get to know San Francisco and its history better. Wonderful experience in a painted hippie VW bus.

Tyler was our driver. He was very knowledgeable about San Francisco. I found him very patient and willing to take my boyfriend and I pictures. I highly recommend this tour. A great time if you love VW vans and getting educated on the couture of this great city.

This was a great tour! And definitely on my top three things to do in San Fran. We had so much fun, covered an incredible amount of area, and sang along to some great tunes. Our Guide Judy, was an expert guide and knew everything! I would easily do this tour again! This is a must do tour!

People who work in the service industry in the US are expected to earn gratuity in order to meet living standards. 15-20% is considered an acceptable tip (if you were happy with the service). So at least $10 per person would be appropriate.

You will not see the “painted ladies” but other than that, it’s pretty much a comprehensive tour. I saw where lots of people said they didn’t do North Beach and Fisherman’s Wharf but my tour guide did both those and he included tips on his favorite North Beach restaurants. I don’t know if we were ahead of schedule so he had time or what was going on but we did catch the highlights. We didn’t stop for photos but we got to see it all.

I do not know for certain ,but I should not see why not as long as others have booked .Have a wonderful time .Also try and book the fire truck tour ,it’s a old Mack 1956 I think old fire engine and was a truly amazing trip.
