Went there to taste some tea and explore the different flavors of tea. The staff were knowledgeable and kind. The tea tasting was pricey but not overly expensive and we tried some rarer teas. Definitely wouldn't be able to find these in your average store. Our daughter didn't get too bored either.

The service was so good and we learned so much that we even bought a few things....not normally something we do at a tea shop, but it was too good to pass up. Very educational and very good tea too.

My husband and I like tea and stopped by this shop. When we walked in the door we were greeted by a friendly sales assistant who explained that we could lift the lids of each tea to smell what was within and they offered to brew samples of any tea we were interested in. They gave us a sample of... More

My niece goes there all the time. I went in with her and tried a few different tea's. The salesperson was very knowledgeable and friendly. Not pushy at all. It's amazing all the different variety's of tea's and differences of even when the leaves were harvested. Nice experience.

This quiet, warmly inviting place is a true find for the tea enthusiast who likes Chinese teas. The staff is quite knowledgeable and can not only walk you through their various offerings, but they will also recommend tea based on what you tell them your preferences are. You can even sample the tea, which I recommend if only because the... More

Thank you Red Blossom for your wonderful customer service and sharing. We enjoyed a delightful, relaxing, educational tasting with the entrepreneur. She was wonderful sharing her knowledge of tea and regions where she obtained the teas in the shop. What a wonderful selection! Teas from all over. Shop is filled with delicous smells. A must stop for any tea lover.

One for the tea curious wanderer. This is the perfect place for considered and thoughtful tea tasting in a very restful and beautiful space. Chinatown has some treasures and this is one. We would pick a visit here if you love tea over a cable car any day. It is not a cafe so don't expect a full tea service.

The Red Blossom Tea Company is a famous institution in San Francisco and there's a constant traffic in and out of the store. Some free tea samples are available, but all the tea blends sold there are very expensive for your occasional Earl Grey drinker.

I wanted to buy some tea while we were in Chinatown and we stopped into Red Blossom for a quick purchase. We were there over an hour! We asked a few questions about the teas and next thing we knew we were sitting down to a very informative and fun tea tasting. The lovely lady who sat with us was... More
