Our guide Cynthia was knowledgeable and friendly. We had a small group of 3 and our walking tour through Chinatown and North Beach was informative and fun. We had great experiences including an authentic Chinese meal in a local favorite restaurant, fresh fortune cookies, and a tea tasting in Chinatown followed by delicious Arancini, pizza, and cannoli in North Beach. We had a great time and highly recommend this tour when visiting San Francisco!

What a fantastic food tour!! We flew up to visit SFO for the weekend, and the walking food tour of Chinatown was the highlight of the weekend!

It was easy to book and schedule online. We had we had to work with customer service but they were friendly and helped us promptly.

Lauren was our guide, and you’ll be lucky to have her! She was incredibly knowledgeable about the history of Chinatown, and presented her stories in engaging and interesting ways. She took us for some incredible tastings and we really enjoyed learning from her.

The highlight for us was a trip to Vital Tea Leaf for a tea tasting. We had such a memorable time there. We also loved our stop at Grant Place Restaurant for Peking Duck, Garlic Noodles and spicy green beans! Lauren also took us tasty chocolate, baos and dim sum!

Overall, it was an incredible experience. Though you can leave at and time, give yourself a bit of a time buffer as we went a little longer than the scheduled time and I wouldn’t have wanted to miss the last stop!

Highly recommend it. We’ll definitely be back to try their other tour!

We went on a Chinatown tour with Brian yesterday, on a cold rainy December Sunday. He was excellent - engaging, informative and happy to banter with us. There were 8 in our tour group, my family of 5 and three others. Brian was funny, getting us all chatting and having a fun time. He took care to keep us out of the worst of the rain and did not hurry us at all, allowing us to take our time over meals and browsing. There was no pressure to purchase and no repeated requests for gratuity.
We went to four eating places - a cantonese and a hunan place, a chocolate store and a tea tasting. Each one was superlative and we ended the tour happy and stuffed and pleasantly tired.
I would definitely recommend this as a tour for tourist or for locals from the regions around san francisco.

FANTASTIC tour and tour guide!! If you love Italian food - this is your tour. Brian was amazing in all the knowledge he has about North Beach (aka Little Italy). He took us to eat (food is included in price) at two pizza restaurants, an Italian deli, delicious cannoli's, outstanding fudge, and nice hot coffee. We visited many shops and a beautiful church along the way. He is well known in the area and we ran into several Italian friends that made the tour seem very warm and close to home. We have traveled quite a bit and been on many tours. This is BY FAR the best one. Not only did we see places we wouldn't have known were there but we also felt immersed in the wonderful Italian culture of North Beach. Thank you so much Brian! Fantastic job!

I’ve never been to San Francisco and do this was my first experience of the city. I like getting to know an area by it’s food (bonus you get to have dinner at like 5 different locations). Great for a group of work colleagues.

Brian was our tour guide: very knowledgeable, very funny, stories were good (sometimes a bit long), and local. Very upbeat. Wes joined us for a bit as well. He was knowledgeable as well.

Very well organized. They even accommodated my group of 5 last minute, which I know required several changes for them.

Went to a variety of locations, learned a lot about tea, went to see hand wrapped fortune cookies being made, had delicious dim sum, moon cakes, bbq pork buns, cannoli, fudge and pizza.

One note: for Saturday plan to be there 3-4 hours. Things move slower on the weekends due to crowds and timing.

Brian our tour guide was fabulous. Informative and funny throughout the tour. It was only 2 of us on the tour and we were treated like royalty. We are so much amazing food and soaked up the chilled out vibe around North Beach. Brian knew everybody around and it felt like we were walking around in his back yard. Would highly recommend this to everybody, a must do when in San Francisco. Don’t eat beforehand though! 5 stars to Brian, he really made the tour what it was! If we’re are ever back in town we will come back and see you again.

Thank you to Tom for helping me to organize our group of 12 for a fantastic and memorable food tour.

Wes, our guide, was a fountain of historical knowledge about Chinatown and “Little Italy.” There was plenty of food and so many interesting stops – like the Tea shop and the shop where they make fortune cookies. Tom was professional and communicative in the organization process, and Wes was a charming, friendly, fantastic guide. I highly recommend!

The walking/food tour was fabulous! Cynthia our guide was interesting, informative and had a great knowledge of all things SF. The food was amazing!! We loved everything that was served and didn’t need to eat for the rest of the day!! We experienced little restaurants and stores that we otherwise wouldn’t have known anything about. Our group was a lot of fun as well- really nice people .Highly recommend this really great tour!!
