This was a good boat cruise, the boat was very clean and the staff were helpful. We had good weather and saw everything possible. The audio information was good but mine got some static interference on occasion which spoiled it slightly. Overall, very pleased with everything.

The tour was a audio narrirated boat ride that gives great views of both bridges as well as an up close view of Alcatraz island. Clean and friendly staff. Worth the fee. Bring a jacket because it is windy and cold.

We were looking for a simple cruise of the bay area. Specifically, we wanted to go under the Golden Gate bridge and around Alcatraz. This tour was exactly what we were looking for. The price was right and we were fortunate the weather was beautiful on this day. I especially appreciated the narration that accompanied the tour. We would recommend... More

We come to San Francisco once or twice a year, and many times we take one of the Red & White cruises for a chance to see this beautiful city from its best angle: from the bay. The one-hour version provides a good overview of the entire region, highlighting noteworthy aspects of the city's history and geography, and it even... More

I paid $30 to go on this hour cruise. Headphones and transmitter were provided to describe what was going on in the tour. This particular tour went from GG bridge to Bay bridge and around Alcatraz.

The Bay cruise is a must! Headphone tour of the bay...Very informative. Boat goes right under the bridge. Spectacular views of Golden Gate, the city of San Francisco and surroundings, and up close around Alcatraz. Definitely recommend!

It was relaxing. Not expensive at all and had a great time. They also sell alcohol! It went under the golden gate bridge.

took the red and white 2 bridges cruise, and it was good. lots and lots of professional narration, in lots of languages (including english!), and great views of the city, the bridges, etc. my only complaint is the wireless sound system. it kept cutting out, so i missed parts of the soundtrack. the problem (i think) was a flakey audio... This is a great way to start your SF trip and get your bearings. They not only give you the tour, but they provide audio with great history and facts. Bring a jacket if you want to be outside it was very cold. And book the 10AM as it has less people than the later ones. My family had a... More

We ended up taking this tour because we had three people who wanted a closer view of Alcatraz...it provides that, but so much more! An audio tour (offered in 16 different languages, sadly, Polish (which three members of our group use exclusively) was not one of them - and I would ask red and white fleet to consider adding it)...
