Always have the best and freshest fruit and produce. Love that there is Wed. and Sun. markets. This seasons' peaches are the sweetest. Melons are delicious too- bring your own bags or rolling cart. Prices are pretty reasonable too.

This farmers market is awesome, even my 13 year old requests to go. They have everything from fresh fruit to cheese to fish. The prices are great and the quality of food is even better. Get ready to spend some time there. You can get lost for hours exploring all the stands. Definitely worth the time.

The Farmers Market is a nice place to visit, but the homeless lying around on the venture to and from the market ruin the experience. The City needs to clean up their issue of homeless lying around, rummaging through garbage and pan handling.

Nestled in the heart of the city, there is a great variety of local produce to choose from. It's good for the whole family.

We walked here from the Bart station and where surprised to see the farmers with their stalls selling fresh produce Different from the usual craft and handholds markets as this is focused on fresh produce

We accidentally met this place. My parents and I were excited to see some fruits and plants which we never seen in Thailand. They were fresh and not too pricey. We like the feeling of local market in a big city.

The market is located in the UN Plaza, very close to the City Hall. It is quite small and did not impress me particularly (I may have seen too many markets), but the products looked of good quality and at reasonable prices.

Sunday farmers market by the library. Amazing fresh organic fruit at bargain prices, for $2.40 I got four apricots and three plumbs and $5 for a pint of deliciously sweet and absolutely huge blackberries. Lovely fresh fruit, vegetables and flowers bought directly from the growers themselves, what could be better!

My wife and I stumbled upon this market completely by accident and were amazed at the quality of the produce. It is located at San Francisco's United Nations Plaza, along Market Street between 7th and 8th Streets above Civic Center BART Station. This farmers market is very nice and there are definitely a good assortment of vendors with fresh produce... More

We love going to Farmer's Markets... so we had to stop here during our walk of the city. Pretty good, but didn't get too much as we couldn't keep it cool to take home. If you are staying for a while in town it's a good place to get some goodies!

Civic Center
Civic Center is the seat of power for all things government and performance-related in the city.
