Visited here one evening, it was fairly quiet and as they have sports showing on the multiple tv’s behind the bar we asked if they were showing the baseball later(they were showing NFL, the same game on most screens). Just got snapped at with a quick NO and a look of inconvenience from the older lady behind the bar. With a first impression like that you don’t need to spend a moment longer there.

A classic in San Francisco. Visited in the past by Janis Joplin. Great happy hour with inexpensive Irish coffees. Classic feel and great service.

Had happy hour Irish coffees for a great price and played darts. Bar and seating was old school lounge decorated and I liked the chandeliers. Right by Fisherman’s warf.

We have been to this bar before and never had this bad of a time. The first sign that they don't give a hoot about their customers was when the bartender came to our table to tell us he would be back in a bit. What he did then was to proceed outside to have a cigarette with a buddy . . . That's right you read that correctly . . . Even though he was the only one serving drinks it was more important to have a cigarette with his buddy than serve patrons in the establishment where is paid to work. I used to reccomend this place . . . But not anymore.

Stopped in with a client for a few drinks, frankly ended up here since most other places near the Pier were closed by 10p on a Thursday night. The bartenders worked hard, but this place frankly is too big for 2 bartenders to work when its crowded. Many beer taps seemed out, the decor and furnishings looked dated. It kinda felt like an old frat house basement, which isn't too good I feel. I almost rated Poor, but it wasn't quite poor. Drop a bit of money in to freshen the place up and have a 3rd bartender on shift and it could be much better.
