Address
Neighborhood: Marina District
Beautiful homes, beautiful people, and a beautiful backdrop of the Golden Gate Bridge welcome visitors to the Marina. Originally the location for the Panama-Pacific International Exposition in 1915 (whose remnants can be seen at the Palace of Fine Arts), much of the land was filled and flattened to accommodate a world’s fair. That ample space has given way to a jogger’s paradise at the northern edge of the city. With the picturesque bay setting as its backdrop, it’s no surprise that the area has hosted numerous movie productions. Daytime activities focus on café culture and boutique shopping, while the evenings turn this neighborhood into a party-going hotspot.

Two steps into the lounge and I was in love. The old place oozes warmth, very classy and inviting. The cocktails, even ones on the happy hour menu were painstakingly prepared by our bartender, a total class act mixologist! I really enjoyed the drink they make from honey they get from their own bee hive on the roof! If I lived around here I would bring all my out of town guests for sure.

Recently discovered Reed & Greenough, and fell in love with the place it is not gorgeous but it has an inviting mood and relaxing and charming ambiance. Reed & Greenough is a Lounge located in the Cow Hollow section. I love the ambiance of Reed & Greenough with the multiple tables and seating arrangements. It was great that are pool tables in the back which was very convenient. It was great that the staff is friendly & professional. Reed & Greenough is a popular neighborhood spot to enjoy cocktails and comfort food after work, before dinner and on weekend nights. With a warm and inviting atmosphere, it's perfect for casual events, dates, parties and late night bites, and offers comfortable seating for groups of all sizes including tall top tables, intimate nooks with leather armchairs and banquettes, and plush seating along the mezzanine. A fitting location for special events and private parties .
Cocktail menu ~ divided into two unequal parts - Favorites (8 creative libations) and Classics (just 2). That seems sufficient, especially that the Favorites include a signature Braveheart - less sweet, with a distinct ginger punch, made of Glenfiddich 15 whisky, ginger, honey, lemon juice and Angostura bitters. On the Classics list, the Boulevardier is made with Bullet Rye, Campari, and Martelletti sweet vermouth.
Wine List ~ mostly comprised of California vintages with quite a few international labels
Beer List ~ contains great quality local brews alongside such treasures as Delirium Tremens and Delirium Nocturnum - the best of Belgium.
Snacks Menu ~ there is a cheese plate, Manchego El Trigal - raw sheep's milk cheese from Spain aged 18 months, assorted crackers, and black and green olives marinated in olive oil, garlic, arbol chili, orange zest, rosemary and thyme. Quite sophisticated bar food! There's also a selection of spreads, each served in a small Mason jar with crackers and cucumber slices on a side for dipping. OMG all of these spreads were D-Licious! 4 stars for this cool neighborhood lounge, minus one star since it can be a little pricey but what do you expect for a place in the Marina District. Nice place though and would recommend it to anyone who wants a casual and cool atmosphere.

This place is amazing. Great vibe by just looking in from outside when hearing the live piano man play and even better vibe when you walk in. Bar staff is great, with delicious cocktails. If you like mezcal, get the Stoned Dove! This place has a warmth to it and is very diverse to all age demographics. It also has a pool table and shuffle board in the back. Everything you need for a great time in the marina. Check this place out! You won’t regret it

I had heard about this spot from a few of my buddies who live down the street and frequent this bar a lot, so I decided to check it out myself. I must say I was not disappointed! This bar is absolutely beautiful! It’s got a gorgeous and very cozy decor, their bourbon and scotch selection is excellent, and who doesn’t love live piano?! It’s a great bar to grab some casual drinks with your friends and also perfect for a night out with a date. I recommend the old fashioned, it was delicious and had a beautiful, classic look. I will definitely be going back to Reed & Greenough and I highly recommend you check it out as well!

Met some out of town friends here for some pre dinner cocktails. Had a great experience so we came back for another round as dessert. Lounge lighting and some good piano tunes set a welcome atmosphere.
