The original San Francisco Segway Tour company. Come glide through San Francisco with us. Segways are easy to learn and fun to ride. We offer 2.5 hour fully guided and narrated Segway tours of the waterfront, North Beach, Chinatown and Golden Gate Park. Choose from 5 fun routes with frequent daily and evening departures. We have 2 convenient locations: Fisherman's Wharf and Golden Gate Park. Our tours are fun and informative. Read our reviews - we love having fun and so do our guests. We offer entertaining and thorough Segway rider training before you depart to explore and learn about the city We guarantee a personal experience with our small groups of 9 or less guests per tour guide.( 8 or less in the Park) Not only are the Segways fun to ride you will enjoy hearing stories, history and tales of the city. Each rider is issued a small radio receiver with a earbud so the tour narration can be heard as you glide from one scenic location to another. We want you to be safe and visible as we travel along many bike lanes so everybody gets (and some dislike) our highly visible and reflective vests. Warm jackets, fuzzy gloves and rain gear are all available at no charge if the fog, wind or rain makes an appearance. All Segway guests must be age 12 and older plus over 100 lbs. (45kg) No pregnant guests. Choose from these tours: Wharf and Waterfront Segway Adventure, Night Segway tour of Chinatown, Little Italy and Waterfront or the official Golden Gate Park Segway Tour. For riders that have been on segway tour before we offer two advanced tours: Hills of San Francisco tour that includes the crookedest street and Telegraph Hill or the Golden Gate Park Advanced Tour. All Segway tours are $ 75.00 per person and advanced reservations are encouraged.

We did both the Golden Gate park and Advanced city tour. We had Ady Lady for our Garden tour. She was patient teaching all of us and while on the tour she took tonnes of photos. Also the humour was outstanding. I had so much fun we took advantage of the discount for a second tour and took the Advanced... More

My mom has always wanted to try riding a segway, so we played tourist for the day (we're SF Bay Area locals) and took the Golden Gate Park tour. TRAINING: I've ridden a segway before, but my mother had not. The training for new segway riders was very comprehensive - my mom got 1:1 time with our tour leader, all... More

My family of 4 (including two teens) had a done a private segway tour in Europe last year, so we were a bit apprehensive about going on a group tour (with ear pieces to hear our guide). We had nothing to fear; Kyle led the group of 10 through the streets of San Francisco without a hitch, and the continuous... More

I was a bit sceptical about learning to ride a Segway, riding it on the streets of San Francisco and listening to a tour guide, all within 2 hours, but we did it and it was brilliant. This a great way of learning a new skill and seeing much more of San Francisco than you could any other way. We... More

Carlos is the greatest. We took the advanced tour and his tour is the best. The tour hit the best spots and the Crooked street was cool to ride down. He took great pictures for us. Segway tours are the best way to see a city!!

Segway lesson was good, equipment was good, tour was good and our guide Aidy (sp? but rhymes with lady) was great. It wasn't cheap, but it was a great experience. My two teenage sons also had a great time. Everyone in the group was given a radio with an earbud so we could hear our guide's narration (and safety warnings)... More

Riding the Segways with Electric Tour Company is a terrific way to get acquainted with Golden Gate Park. You'd never see half of it any other way. Plus the guide's narration was energetic and fun. Highly recommended.
