GoCar, the World’s First Storytelling CarFold up the map – put away the guidebook – and prepare for a city adventure you won’t soon forget! These clever yellow talking convertibles navigate for you, point out the sights, and tell you about the city’s culture and history. But that’s not all – your GoCar mobile tour guide has a personality and a human voice – it cracks jokes, recommends the good restaurants, and tells you the stories that bring the city to life. It’s like having a “local” give you a private guided tour.GoCar gives clear driving directions using GPS satellite technology. Just follow the friendly audio directions and relax!

We only had a couple of days in San Francisco and wanted to maximise our stay. We had never heard of go car before but decided to give it a try. We thought we were going to be just driving around the streets on our own. How wrong were we, this is a fully guided tour we so much information... More

I stumbled across this today with a mate while we were doing a tour of the city. It was everything we'd been looking for. Although I couldn't understand the accents of most of the people that worked there, it's pretty easy knowing what's going on. We received a brief safety review and how-to video in a small room then you're... More

Fantastic way to see a new city - recommend getting the faster cars as they have no problem keeping up with traffic. Interesting routes with good narration and properly good fun, we are looking forard to doing the same in San Diego next week!

To be honest, I wasn't the one who brought up the idea of driving the streets of San Francisco in little GoCars (that would be my wife and daughter), but we had a great time! You get a much different perspective seeing the sights while scooting about in the GoCars than you might while traveling on foot or in a... More

Soooo much fun🙀 When you rent be sure to pay the extra$10 for up grade on car.. You need the power to climb the hills. We drove along the waters edge on the main roads! I can not explain how much fun was, we laughed and screamed the twos we were go . We would have stayed longer but we... More

Highly recommend! The GoCars are user-friendly and fun to drive. We ended up getting a dead battery after stopping at the Golden Gate Bridge (apparently not common, so it was just our bad luck!), but Matt and Nick were incredibly helpful in getting us back to the storefront. They were quick to pick us up and credited back our entire... More

My husband and I rented a gocar for 2 hours and had a brilliant time. We travelled all over the city and saw all the sights. We loved every minute of it, especially the trip down Lombard street. Couldn't recommend it enough.

My 92-year old mom and I went zipping around SF two weeks ago. We picked up our little RED GoCar at the Union Square site, and were out for three hours having a BLAST! People aren't kidding when they say you're like a ROCKSTAR in those things. People were watching, taking pictures of us. We were laughing, having a riotous... More

Excellent way to see the city, I would recommend this to anyone who wants a little fun zooming around the streets in a mini car! Drives like a twist and go scooter - only reason for not giving 5 stars is that our GoCar was a little tired and struggled on the steeper sections a lot.

I want to do it again! It was a little pricey, but so worth it! It was a great way to see the city and the GPS was super easy to use. It was informative and suggested some great stops. Definitely get 2 hours or more. We felt a little rushed in the end so plan your stops wisely. Also... More
