I was trying to schedule a team building activity in less than 48 hours. Our office is located in San Francisco and we had a group of about 12 people. I reached out to Sidewalk Food Tours and heard back right away. Josh was very responsive to every email inquiry I had. We chose the food tour in the Mission and Lauren was our tour guide. Lauren was so knowledgeable, professional, and kind. The tour included five spots. Two of the spots we were scheduled to go to, Delfina and Tartine, were closed. We went to another place that Lauren chose, and to another place of our choosing (Boba Guys). Overall it was a very fun, informative, and nourishing day. The tasting portions are pretty big so come hungry. I highly recommend this food tour due to the responsive communication and quality of the service and food!

Chinatown Tour was a perfect blend of delicious food and history!

We did the Chinatown tour with Lauren, on the day of the Lunar New Year parade. Absolutely would recommend! The streets were filled with vendors for the festival and Lauren did a great job at not letting that have any impact on our experience. This was our second tour with Sidewalk and by far our favorite (we are planning to finish off with Mission, it's going to be tough to beat Chinatown!). Lauren was up front about the tour potentially going over and it was worth it. We stopped at several places, learned about many different historical and religious sites, and all of the food was delicious! I do not eat pork and Lauren did a awesome job at making sure I was accommodated without feeling like an inconvenience. The final bonus stop was a tea tasting - so much fun! If you want to experience Chinatown San Francisco, DO THIS TOUR!

Great Tour and Team-building Event!

We booked the sidewalk tour for a team building event for our team of 6. Spud was a great tour guide navigating us through different restaurants and providing us a wonderful history of the mission and the beautiful murals around. We had such a wonderful time and highly recommend taking one of the Sidewalk Tours walking food tour.

Well worth every penny spent - our guide (Michael M) was great and so very knowledgeable about Chinatown and catered his stories to the 6 kids/teens in our group. Best thing about the food tour - it forces you to try foods and restaurants you would have never tried on your own! Highly recommend!

Great way to explore the diverse foods of San Francisco

We booked a private food tour of the Mission District and enjoyed it immensely. The diverse range of food was perfect for our foodie family of 5 and was absolutely delicious. We enjoyed every stop and made the most of our time exploring this incredible area of San Fran. Our guide 'Spud' was very knowledgable, kind and accommodating - we learned so much from him about the area, its history and of course its food. I would recommend this tour to anyone visiting the Bay area and give 100% thumbs up - loved it! Worth every penny. Loved it. Thank you.

SF Walking Food Tour with Jinny in North Beach

Loved it! This was a birthday gift for a friend. We are local to the SF Bay area. It happened that three couples who did the tour were all local, too. This is the second one from this company that I have done and I highly recommend it.

Jinny was our tour guide and she has a great perspective of the North Beach area, food, art and was so much fun. The food was terrific and plentiful. North Beach is a very small area, so there was not much walking but we did make stops in between restaurants, to learn about the local history. It was a fabulous experience and well worth it.

Our tour of Chinatown and North Beach was really fun. The food was great and our guide, Scott, was fantastic. He was engaging, personable, and full of knowledge. I'd definitely recommend this for groups that don't mind a few hours of walking around San Francisco.

My daughter and I enjoyed our 3 hr food tour on a spectacular day in the City. Nick, our tour guide, was very informative and we learned a lot about SF and North Beach history which ties the present day to origins through past migrations and how that influenced the food we tasted. Good food, easy paced walk with historical overview. Len H.

A Must Do Tour in San Francisco

The food scene is one of the best attractions in San Francisco and this tour hit a home run. Scott was not only an excellent food guide but was able to guide our family through the rich history of the city and how the neighborhoods came to be. Awesome experience for us all!

We ate, drank, & walked with the best of San Francisco

Blair was an amazing guide! He was able to pivot from the expectations set for a large tour to the reality of the small group who was able to attend (thanks Covid!) and kept us engaged, curious, and very well fed. Each spot on the tour was distinctive and represented a different perspective. Everything was delicious and we were able to adjust locations when it was just too cold for ice cream. Such a great experience!!
