Read up on the Armory Studios before you decide to come here. This is definitely not everybody's cup of tea. We had a great guide who made the tour interesting, happy I came and checked it out!

I have been here a number of times, and it is kind of cool to see the "behind the scenes" dungeons and studios where some scenes are filmed for the fetish company. If you like old architecture, the building is also kind of cool to check out, assuming you can get into the areas where you can enjoy such things.... More

The Armory tour offers little to the traveler who is not a fan of BDSM pornography. San Francisco's other cultural sites are more rewarding so unless you have seen everything else the city has to offer, make The Armory a low priority.

After getting off of the BART train we were greeted by two blocks of homeless people and urine all over the streets in order to get to the Armory facility. We arrived 10 minutes early and the tour guide Quin very rudely told us we had to leave and come back though there was space to wait safely inside. Where... More

Fascinating tour led by Rowan, a very knowledgable and fun guy. As it's a working studio the sets you can only tour certain sets but what we did see was great and visiting The Upper Floor was a treat as we also got a walk through of the beautiful oil paintings. I still don't know the story about the zebra... More

Frankly I expected more stories from perfomers, more exhibits. The guide was a cool dude but it felt like there was not enough stuff to show to the visitors. Boooriiiiinnng

Whatever has happened to The Armory experience this year? Let us hope someone reads and takes note so that 2017 can be better. As it stands, another poor review here, again over terrible customer service. While The Armory sure delivered in some aspects, I did not foresee leaving it in tears. An interesting tour? Certainly something different. Customer experience? Horrendous.... More

What an awesome tour. Who would have thought that you'd get a history lesson along with a porn tour? If you're offended by anything sexual, don't go. However, the tour included quite a bit of the history of the armory itself too. The tour guide was very knowledgeable. An overall great tour that I'd definitely recommend to others.

We spent one evening taking the tour in the Armory and around the porn studios of Kink.com. The tour lasts about 90 mins. We got groupon with discount so it was very cheap. The tour was interesting and the tour guide was funny and knowledgeable. The building is very big with several floors. Definitely not my cup of tea but... More

Neighborhood Profile
Mission District
From burritos to bicyclists, the Mission is the foundation for all things hip in the city. Cultural attractions, an independent arts community, sumptuous street murals and a high density of bars and cafes make this neighborhood a magnet for young people. While terrific inexpensive food is abundant, its top-of-the-line restaurants now compete with the city’s best for fashionable diners. Indulge as the locals do by heading to Mission Dolores Park, buy some ice cream, and savor one of the most diverse neighborhoods in the country.
