Highly recommend the Sunday tour
The tour was really fantastic and our driver (Jeni) was very good and entertaining; the party bus is my favorite type of transport from now on!!!! We just loved the tour of Lagunitas, that made the trip worthwhile. Hubby & son loved it and it made their trip to SF a major success :)
Exceeded our (my) expectations
Thank you for a great day.

My wife booked this for my birthday. Easy meet location at the Caltrain station. The party bus was great and had plenty of room for the 13 people taking the tour. We took the Saturday tour which included Pyramid, Linden St, and Drakes. Jenny was our guide and driver and she was fantastic. Our tour included tastings at all three breweries and lunch at Pyramid. Lots to choose from on the lunch menu and lunch was great. Great vibe all the way around. Can't wait to take the tour on another day to visit other breweries. Fun day......we had a blast!!!!

Our brew tour guide picked a group of us up at the CalTRAN station and our first stop was the Thirsty Bear Brewery in San Francisco. At this stop, we received a tour of the brewery, six healthy pours (4 - 6 ounces) of some very good beer and ate a very tasty lunch. This is a great place to meet for lunch/dinner but it can get pretty busy during this time. Parking is also limited to the street but the beer and food is worth "the hunt!"
Our second stop was South Pacific Brewery where we enjoyed six different beers. The pours were probably around 2 ounces. The brewery is located inside a former metal works business. Parking can be difficult to find and while they do serve food, we did not have any.
The final stop was Speakeasy Brewery. This place has an old time gangster decor (a la the Chicago Al Capone Mafia days) and was dark inside like an old style bar; however, that is a good thing as it added to the atmosphere. Seating was limited but we just stood around the bar and enjoyed the good beer (approx 4 oz. pours) and very informative staff. While we came to the brewery in a van, this would be a good stop for people who drive their own cars as there was free parking. Since it is away from the City it's less hectic to drive and get there as well.
Our tour guide was very personable and informative not only about the breweries that we visited but the types of beer that each one served. This brewery touring companies also has two other tours for other breweries in the the San Francisco area. I would also recommend parking in the Safeway building's parking structure rather than the street. The cost for an entire 24-hour day is $20. It's just a walk across the street to the pick up location and within walking distance to numerous restaurants, the ball park and marina area.

Austin our beer bad***itor(he said he is a "beer ambassador" but after the group realized how good he was we changed it and you can fill in the ***) was a great tour guide. We had a small group, my wife and I and a friend of ours who lives close to the city, and another young couple(5 total). Lunch at Thirsty Bear was great and there were so many selections to eat. Everyone in the group loved their food. We toured the brewing area and Austin was full of knowledge and able to answer any and all questions we had. We next went to Southern Pacific which is in an old tool and die factory. The beer was great. We finished at Speakeasy which was a great time and themed like a speakeasy...dark on the inside with old props giving it a great feel.
Austin was great with reading the group and really tried to pick beers he knew we would like. Overall would recommend this tour. Really worth the money.

This was the way to go! My husband and I were pleased with the tour, and our driver, John. We saw several breweries, one of which included lunch. Our driver/guide, John, had worked at a brewery and was very knowledgeable about brewing beer. We were taken to small and large breweries and sampled many of the craft beers available. It was nice having a driver and the tour is in a comfortable van, not a huge tour bus, so we were able to get to know the others on this tour. It was a terrific tour at a good price.

Our tour guide was fabulous. Very knowledgeable about beer and the San Francisco area in general. He was able to give us some great restaurant suggestions and was able to drop us off close to our hotel at the end. I would recommend this tour to any beer lover!

I had a blast on this tour. The tour guides are friendly, knowledgeable, and fun. The breweries were great. We got lots of beer! Lunch should be included though. Other than that, everything was awesome!

Fun & educational tour of 3 breweries. Breweries were very different and all had excellent beers to sample. We also bought food at Magnolia Brewery & it was incredible! Definitely a great way to spend the afternoon for any beer lover.

Went on the Friday tour whilst my other half was at work. Pick up point easy to find. Tour bus was a party bus, complete with pole! Tour guide the most knowledgable I have had on a brewery tour (and have done at least 4 in various countries). There were other tours that were more suited to the keen home brewer and promised time with the Brewers but this was a great one level below. Bars were Thirsty Bear, Southern Pacific and Speakeasy. Thirsty Bear was best for the beer (quality and quantity) and food. Southern Pacific for artwork on the wall (but our group didn't like the beer) and Speakeasy for all round cool venue (in a fun speakeasy style) and good IPA. Don't recommend driving - if you enjoy the tour, you won't be fit to drive back and there are plenty of transport options from the station which is only a 20min walk from Union Sq.

We booked a tour with Bay Area Brewery Tours during our honeymoon in San Francisco. Mindy, our guide, picked us up from the main train station and then took us round 3 breweries/brew pubs. There were 4 of us on the tour. Firstly we went to Thirsty Bear for lunch (and beer). For lunch we had a number of choices and Thirsty Bear had some great beers. After lunch Mindy gave us a quick walk through the brewery process. Then we went to Southern Pacific, where we tried 8 beers! It was a really cool place, although we lost track of which beer was which. Finally we went to Speakeasy which was different again but also really cool. Rather than trying a number of different beers we just had a pint of one we wanted to try, which was a great way to finish. The tour took around 3 hours in total. All of the breweries were really interesting and had some great beers. We would definitely recommend this tour and Mindy was a great host/guide. We even got a free glass at the end of the tour!

Go to the website, the whole list can be found under the tour tab at the top. The prices I looked at were $160 to $205 in price, but that includes everything! The website is straight forward and easy to use.
