Bay Voyager is happy to announce the opening of our new location at Pier 39...

Bay Voyager is happy to announce the opening of our new location at Pier 39 in San Francisco! The range of tours offered by Bay Voyager include viewing historic ships, visiting former mooring sites of abandoned gold rush ships, and experiencing active estuaries populated by cargo ships and tug boats. You’ll see the San Francisco waterfront, cruise under the Golden Gate Bridge, around Alcatraz, Under the Bay Bridge to the Port of Oakland, past AT&T Park (Home to the San Francisco Giants) and Back to Pier 39. While Bay Voyager does have specific routes, deviation is an integral part of the experience, making each adventure an engaging and exhilarating encounter.According to owner and captain, Charles Jennings, “we feel there is a need to provide more intimate and individualized tours that travel closer and give more in depth guided tours. By being in a small and agile vessel, guests can have an up close and personal adventure while traveling to all corners of the always-fascinating bay.”

Covered a lot of interesting territory

It's great fun to ride in such a fast boat, and it allows you to cover a lot of interesting areas of the bay that most cruises just can't get to.

The boat itself is quite awesome. Capt. Charles was a great host. He had all the wet gear we needed, made sure everyone was outfitted properly and on board safe. Seeing the Bay from the water was great! I would highly recommend this!

This was my second time on this tour and it was every bit as fun as the first. It's now my go to thing to do in SF when I have out of town guests. Everything about the experience is truly fantastic. I called up Captain Charles in the morning asking if he had any spots open, and he ended... More

We booked this tour originally so we could get last minute Alcatraz tickets. So glad we did. My husband, twin 9 years and myself had a fabulous time. We have both been to SF many times for work and long weekends, but first trip for our boys. We learned so much of the city/waterfront history. The boat is small so... More

From the water you get a different perspective of San Francisco and its history. This tour is definitely worth it. The rain stopped just prior to our tour and Captain Charles made the tour an amazing time full of history and facts about the various things we saw as we cruised under the Golden Gate Bridge toward the Pacific and... Adam, What an amazing day it turned out to be! Calm, clear and not raining. I hope you enjoyed the rest of your trip to San Francisco and we hope to have you on board again sometime in the future. Explore the bay! More

Charles is a terrific captain and tour guide. He's very professional, while offering an entertaining experience. The boat is extremely stable, and the 300 hp motor makes for an exciting adventure.

We had a fantastic voyage with Charles. I'm a local and have been on this bay too many times to count. This trip was one of my most memorable ones! We took an 11:00 trip around the bay with a boat full of friends. Charles knew many things about places all around the bay, it was so cool to learn... More

I just took a boat ride with Bay Voyager and was first, a little nervous and I did not know what to expect. Was I wearing the right clothes, was I going to get wet and cold? All my worries were addressed. We were advised what to wear and were also given water suits so we would stay dry. From... More

Incredible experience! With Captain Charles behind the wheel we navigated around some spectacular views that could only be seen and experienced at eye level in a RIB Boat. If you are a photographer or a lover of sea life this is a must do adventure! Captian Charles is knowledgeable not only about the Bay Area and the sites we explore... More

I absolutely loved this boat trip. Going fast on the RIB, seeing the bridges up close, the amazing views of San Francisco, and the great narration from Captain Mike. It was perfect. I would highly recommend this to anyone visiting San Fran!
