Bay Voyager is happy to announce the opening of our new location at Pier 39...

Bay Voyager is happy to announce the opening of our new location at Pier 39 in San Francisco! The range of tours offered by Bay Voyager include viewing historic ships, visiting former mooring sites of abandoned gold rush ships, and experiencing active estuaries populated by cargo ships and tug boats. You’ll see the San Francisco waterfront, cruise under the Golden Gate Bridge, around Alcatraz, Under the Bay Bridge to the Port of Oakland, past AT&T Park (Home to the San Francisco Giants) and Back to Pier 39. While Bay Voyager does have specific routes, deviation is an integral part of the experience, making each adventure an engaging and exhilarating encounter.According to owner and captain, Charles Jennings, “we feel there is a need to provide more intimate and individualized tours that travel closer and give more in depth guided tours. By being in a small and agile vessel, guests can have an up close and personal adventure while traveling to all corners of the always-fascinating bay.”

This was a huge risk taking little kids -- I mean, *little*. We had two 4 year olds and two 6 years olds and everyone loved the boat! Captain Charles was very enthusiastic to take on our crew and the kids had a great time. My 4 year old daughter has already asked me to take her back on the... More

A unique way to see the Golden Gate bridge and Bay area. We also sprung for the early access to Alcatraz, which I recommend if you have limited time or don't like lots of crowds. Be prepared for some steep climbs on the Island.

If you love travel experiences on a slightly unbeaten path, highly recommend this tour. Captain Charles was enthusiastic and professional, with a noticeable attention to detail. It was evident he has a passion for the history and beauty of the bay, keeping it entertaining and informative. The boat's limited size of the tour added to the personalized experience. Thoroughly enjoyable... More

Charles' experience, enthusiasm and general attitude helped to make this one of our best experiences in San Francisco. The speed boat holds just 12 people so was a really personal experience. We saw porpoises and sea lions up close and got to see the Golden Gate Bridge from a totally different perspective. The wet weather clothing provided was really good... More

Captain Charles has got this! A fast boat ride out to the Golden Gate Bridge and riding the waves was super fun. Then he continues on in the bay and highlights areas of San Francisco with just the perfect amount of info. Boat is safe and comfortable. Charles is funny and safe. I recommend his tour to both locals and... More

A friend booked the RIBboat experience for us while we had one day to visit in San Francisco, CA. What a ride! Worth every penny! It's a true experience from the moment he welcomes you on the dock. It is about 90 minutes of pure adventure. We had the pleasure of seeing a hump back whale in the bay not... More

Charles was an excellent captain and host. The tour was exhilarating and fun. I loved the special treat we had seeing whales surfacing on the seaward side of the Golden Gate bridge. I also love that our captain uploaded the photos to facebook for us to download at no extra cost. The boat was super comfortable and we were toasty... More

We've hosted some very good couple friends from out of town a few times, so it is getting increasingly difficult to find a truly unique and mind-blowing experience in San Francisco. Wine country, new restaurants, blah-blah-blah. All amazing, but on the check-list for any visit to the Bay Area. I was really looking for something new. I heard of the... More

Charles, our guide was fantastic. Had a great 90 minutes on the water. Saw 3 whales jumping out of water. Beautiful time on the water. Saw many highlights including Golden Gate Bridge, A T & T Stadium, Alcatraz. Sailboat races were out when we were....this was amazing to see. Highly recommend going out with Charles. All safety gear provided. Well... More
