The Hop on Bus tour goes through this and you can get off in the park and walk about. Lots to see. Another must see.

We arrived at Golden Gate Park by city bus on a beautiful clear and warm day. We were able to visit many of the interesting venues and beautiful gardens within the park and did not get to see all of the park. But, it was a wonderful afternoon. Be sure to go early and leave before rush hour though. The... More

A very lovely park. We started at the park at 9:30 in the morning and didn't leave the park until 4:00. We visited the deYoung museum, the California academy of science, the Japanese tea garden and the conservatory of flowers. We ate lunch at the art museum on the outside patio and had tea at the tea gardens. It was... More

The parks offer so many beautiful gardens to explore. Don't miss the Conservatory of Flowers!!!! Just amazing! Be aware that some of the gardens require an admittance fee.

It was hard to find most of the things around the park. There is no signs or anything that could guide you where should you go.. Also make sure if you're taking bus number 28 to ASK THE DRIVER ARE THEY GOING IN THAT DIRECTION. it is confusing.

Escape the city and enjoy some nature. Big open spaces. Huge trees. Perfect spot to lay and doze. Botanical gardens are beautiful

This is a great place to visit and get some fantastic views of the bridge and surrounds. Would be an ideal place to just relax and soak in all the views that can be seen from this perfect place.

Has a nice playground that has 2 areas for younger children and older children. We were there with a 2 year old. I think the carousel was out of order, I don't recall seeing it running at all. Our son made a few friends and there was a really nice trio of adults that included him in their soccer game.... More
