Loved that there was so much information of the area given to us. Enjoyed the costumes worn by so many of the group. Glad she used a micro-phone - made it easier for those with hearing difficulties. I should have worn more, warmer clothing!

we did the tour on the saturday before halloween and the tour was packed! it was hard to keep everyone together between the various locations - even though you don't walk very far during the tour. the hardest part for me was that our guide kept going in and out of her vampire character. it was a bit distracting but... We thought this would be interesting. An older woman in her 60s calls herself Mina Parker. The stories are silly and bear no resemblance to reality or history. We froze our tails off. Save your money.

I thought it would be a blast! I fully expected that much of the script would be a delightful story linking several charming old historic locations together in a yarn about vampires. So I drug my 17-year-old son along on a 215-mile trip from Visalia to do some things we've never done before: Hear a great story about vampires in... More

The Vampire Tour of San Francisco is a blast! The tour is lead by Mina Harker who makes history a lot of fun to learn! She combines true San Franicsco history with fun vampire lore and humor! My friends and I had a great time on this tour!

Bottom line: the tour guide lost 6 customers in the first 40 minutes (which was about 25% of the group). Our guide was dressed and made up well but ruined the illusion before the tour even started - don't know about you but I like my vampires aloof and mysterious not schmoozy and talking about their human ailments. Our group... More

Staying in Nob Hill

Neighborhood Profile
Nob Hill
Swanky and stylish, Nob Hill sits in the heart of the city and is home to amazing architecture and views. The hike to the top can be a challenging workout for those who forego a cable car ride, but they will be rewarded with some of the city’s most beautiful architecture adorning its peak. Originally populated with mansions after the Gold Rush, most if not all were devastated in the 1906 earthquake and fire that followed. Luckily all is not lost; storied hotels and Grace Cathedral surround Huntington Park. Having a drink or dinner while taking in the sunset and views at the "top of the Mark" is tough to beat.
