The best outdoor farmers market in California. Lots of organic produce. Shop around to find the best deal. Most vendors will set their price by what their neighbor is charging. Check out front or along the edges for cheaper prices, usually from the same farms. If you like smoked salmon stop by Cap n Mikes holy smoked booth. Over a... More

I have been going to this farmer's market since its beginning - when it was down the street in an open parking lot. It has really grown since! Love the fresh fruit and food stands. It is my go to place to just hang out with the family!

We visited on a Saturday morning, arriving around 11am to find the market busy but pleasantly so. The kids weren't that interested in the food stalls (which looked great) although liked tasting the free samples being offered out. Our highlight was getting some great Mexican street food and eating on the benches overlooking the water, with a one man band... More

Visitors will invariably have been to better farmers markets. However, if the goal is doing something fun and eating street food, great activity! I've been going for years and still enjoy it.

We knew abt the market but never researched it. Landed Friday night so next morning all jetlagged we did how short walk from the hotel. Arrived at the ferry terminal building. Not so busy nothing exciting from road side except for landmark photo opp. Walking inside it all so cost and buzzing with people. Outside was even more busier but... More

We visited on a Saturday and it was really busy but the atmosphere was great and the free samples/tasters and seeing the products being produced was a brilliant experience.
