We had three different tour guides throughout our tour and thoroughly enjoyed the sights, but two of the guides were awful. Our first guide was an English woman who seemed not to know a whole lot of information or simply didn't care to share it. She was chatting with a toddler for the majority of our trip, trying to make her laugh by making silly noises. Another guide was an older man also short on things to tell us about the city. On one occasion he stopped mid-sentence and explained that he had been distracted been a good looking girl who couldn't have been more than 20. Most of our enjoyment came while off the buses seeing the sights ourselves.

I had taken the very same tour earlier in the day and wanted to get the experience in the night and it did not disappoint at all. As a matter of fact, it was even better in the night with the lights on!

It was an absolute thrill to go on a tour of the very famous Golden Gate Bridge and the equally famous Alcatraz prison where I was amazed at the conditions under which the prisoners confined to solitary confinement had to go through.

I have used Big Bus tours all over the world and I never had a bad experience until yesterday in San Francisco. We left at 1:00 p.m., the driver's last name was Cheung. About 30 minutes into the tour my 2-year-old started throwing the worst temper tantrum. My boyfriend went downstairs to find out if we could get off. Driver Cheung told him that he can't stop unless at a bus stop (which was not any time soon). The baby continued screaming, so I went downstairs, put him in the stroller and asked the driver to stop the bus. Driver Cheung started YELLING at me with his broken English stating he cannot stop until the designated bus stop. Ok, first of all, no matter what the circumstances are, you NEVER YELL AT A CUSTOMER! Secondly, how can you not make an exception to a mother when the baby is screaming bloody murder? This person Cheung should NEVER be in Customer service industry because he has ABSOLUTELY ZERO understanding or skills of how to deal with people! If it was up to me, he would be fired immediately! My Big Bus tour was ruined and unfortunately, this negative memory can never be erased.
