I had a great tour with this company. It was a convenient, stress-free way to visit Muir Woods and Sausalito. We also got to stop at a Golden Gate Bridge viewing point. Kenneth, our tour guide and bus driver, made the trip interesting and fun by throwing in facts and even breaking into song :) I would recommend this tour to anyone who want to see Muir Woods and Sausalito.

At first I wasn't sure that 90 minutes would be enough for the Muir Woods, but it turned out to be ok. I'd definitely like to go back and spend more time, there are so many trails! Sausalito is quaint and I'm glad we took the ferry back. The bus driver was an amazing tour guide!!
Things I wish i knew: you can take the ferry to Sausalito from Pier 39 in SF and then take a shuttle to the Muir Woods. Probably save you money, the Muir Woods entrance is $15, ferry is $15, not sure about the shuttle.

Greg was our tour guide/driver, and he was exceptional! He was well-versed in the history of the San Francisco Bay area, including the specific wine regions we visited during our tour. During our drive, he always made sure to share details about neighborhoods, city sites and the overall history of the communities in the area. If you’re debating on this trip, believe me, the cost is worth every penny! You will not be disappointed!

The tour bus was late. My husband and I and one other couple arrived early at 10:30 at the assigned spot; check in was 10:40. At 11:00, we contacted Grayline operations who told us that the bus was 5 minutes out. At 11:10, we called again and was told that the bus was there, it was not. At 11:15, we saw the bus and expected it to turn right and to let us on at the assigned location, the bus driver did not slow down and turned left , drove away and left us standing there. We called Operations a third time to inform and was told he could not return and we could re-book for the next day or get a full refund. We chose a refund. Truly disappointing service and as we were looking forward to the Muir Woods tour

The vineyards were amazing, the scenery on the drive was beautiful and the wine tasting experience was wonderful, and the thing that made this event complete was our awesome and informative tour guide/driver, Danny. He gave us hints about wine tasting and facts about wine and vineyards, as well as sharing facts, stories and some bad Dad jokes along the way! Danny was courteous and helpful, and a competent operator of the vehicle. We had an excellent time and would recommend this event to everyone!

Amazing experience.. Wine tasting knowledge was good. The Guide was knowledgeable and ride was smooth and also explaining the history on every route during his driving. Though the timing on each Wine tasting session was bit more.

We met our bus at the gray line office at Leavenworth and Jefferson. Thomas picked us up and then picked up the rest of the people going on the tour. It was early morning around 730. Thomas gave us an outstanding tour on the way to Monterey. His narrative Was very informative and interestingly delivered. Thomas Turgoose on the 17 mile drive through Carmel. Thomas is probably one of the best drivers we have had on all of our tours.

We had a great tour of Muir Woods & Sausalito! Danny was a great driver/narrator, and gave us a lot of interesting history. I’m so glad we decided to leave the driving to someone else, as the road into Muir Woods was full of zig-zags and blind curves (if you are prone to motion-sickness definitely take some medication before!) Would definitely book a tour with Gray Line again

Very friendly staff. Our day trip to Yosemite was very smooth drive there and back. You drive two hrs and make a 1/2 hr stop to go to the bathroom and pick up lunch. The next two hours is a beautiful drive. The 3hr self guided tour in the park we found to be enough time cause the bus stops at the biggest high lights of the park so you can take photos. On the way back you also make a stop after two hrs for a bathroom break and snacks. My husband and loved our day. It was a trip we are glad we took.

Overall, very nice. The three wineries offered a nice variety of experiences. The driver was knowledgeable. He sometimes overshared as a guide, commenting about weather, the economy, etc. Not a big deal. The tour was worth the money.

Hello Saerom932, thanks for your interest in our wine tour.
Unfortunately, we don't offer pick-up and drop-off in Napa Valley as our schedule is pretty tight between tastings and we could not accommodate all customer requests.
What we offer to customers staying in Napa is to uber themselves to the first winery, enjoy the rest of the tour with our beautiful coaches, and uber themselves back to their hotel from the third winery (around 5 pm).

Correct, you will be able to take the Ferry at the time that you prefer.
We partner with the BLUE & GOLD fleet, so we suggest checking the departure times on their website some days before your tour.
Times differ depending on the season.

We did not do that. We used our personal vehicle on a 3 week road trip (of which 6 days were just to get to the west coast and back), just between San Francisco and Seattle. There is just so much to see.

The Shopping Shuttle departs from 478 Post Street, SF at 9 am. Should there be traffic or not driving to the San Francisco Premium Outlets, the estimated time of arrival is roughly by 10 am. The bus will return to pick up all passengers by 4 pm.
