Book a Personal Running Tour today, and let us show you what makes San Francisco such an amazing city for running. I'm sure you will agree that one of the best ways to see and experience San Francisco is in a pair of running shoes. The weather and climate in San Francisco is almost ideal for running year round. In the winter, the San Francisco bay helps keep the temperature from dipping too far below 40 degrees, and breeze from the pacific helps keep the summer temps ideal for an afternoon run.

My husband and I joined Coleman for the "Painted Lady" run, which was fortunately a short distance from our accommodation. We had a false start on the first day we booked when some how we didn't manage to catch up with the group but Coleman was more than happy to either refund our money or schedule a new run. Fortunately... More

I did the Golden Gate Bridge running tour with City Running during my last visit to America - and it was fantastic ! Alyssa - the guide was friendly , maintained a reasonable running pace and was patient with my requests for photographs on Bridge .

I love booking these running tours, because I don't have to fuss with figuring out how to get to things. I booked a personal running tour of the Golden Gate Bridge with Leonard, and it has been my favorite running experience to date! In addition to giving me a heads up of what to expect, Leonard showed me some off-the-beaten-path... More

I really enjoyed my run along the Embarcadero down to Fisherman's Wharf. It was raining when we began, but what runner hasn't run through rain? It was a great run at a comfortable pace with good information and conversation. Wish I had time to do another, longer run!

When recently in San Francisco, I joined John on the 5K tour underneath the Bay Bridge and on to the Ballpark. The route was very good for running and it was real fun to see a famous American baseball arena. I really recommend to run in SF with City Running Tours !

As runners, we really wanted to run the Golden Gate on our anniversary trip to San Francisco, but in planning I had some difficulty figuring out all the rules to do so, as well as where to get on/off. We were also concerned about winding up in a bad area, or getting lost. In my research, I came across City... More

Great run with John! He was most friendly and shared a lot of information with us as we ran along the San Francisco wharf. A good pace was kept with fellow marathon runners as well as for my daughter who was a beginning runner. We stopped to take pictures of the seals, and to hear the history of the sourdough... More

I ran the "Sourdough Bakery and Fishermans Wharf 5K Run" together with John, my running guide for the day. Because there was no one else running with me, I had the feeling of a private tour. It was a pleasant run, ideal before having breakfast. John was knowledgeable and told me a lot of interesting things about the City and... More

This was our first running tour and it was great. We booked a private 6 mile run with John. He came by our hotel 6:00AM sharp and took us to a great run from there to Golden Gate, running through Presidio. We had a surprise stop visiting Lucas Films offices, we had a blast! John knew a lot about the... More

My run with John was conversational, fun and informative. He goes at your pace and is so personable that the time flies. A lovely way to spend an early morning in San Fran!
