This was my boyfriend's second time on the tour and my first. It was a great way to see the city on our first day in town. I enjoyed seeing the different neighborhoods and hearing about the history and culture. Our guide Josh was really knowledgeable and laid back. It was only us and another couple on the tour, so... my first booking was cancelled due to bad weather, i was rather disappointed at first, but then it kinda gave me more time to shop and i was pleasantly surprised they went ahead with the tour on the following monday (even when i was the only person that day). I had the pleasure of touring the city with Earl, a... More

We did the Majestic Electric and we're so glad we went for that! The electric bikes make it so easy, and because of them you get too see places in the tour you otherwise wouldn't. We got a very extinsive view on much of San Francisco, we rode about 23 miles and were not tired at the end. And we... More

My wife and I had a great tour with our guide Brandon. The ride is pretty easy, hitting a good amount of the neighborhoods of SF. The company and guides were extremely knowledgeable about the city and its hidden gems. Highly recommend the classic route. Great route and great options for lunch stops!

I took this tour as a solo traveler the week of November 21. Luckily the rain cleared out and gave us a beautiful day for a ride. Our guide Josh is a lifelong resident of SF and is highly knowledgeable about the city. The ride we were on was "The Classic". I'm not sure how many people usually are on... More

I joined The Classic tour and it was memorable and wonderful tour. It took about 4.5 hours but was very helpful for the rest of my SF trip. The guide Josh was fantastic, kind and unforgettable person. I was really glad to join this tour. It was the best memory for my SF trip.

This is an outstanding way to see a lot of the city that goes beyond just the main sights. Earl, the guide was absolutely fanstastic and works hard to make sure everyone has an enjoyable experience. Good training on the bikes and as we are middle-aged, glad we went the electric bike route. You can't go wrong with this company... More

A bike tour is an excellent way to see this great city. Our fantastic host Brandon led our group through a series of streets and communities. He pointed out many characteristics and places of significance, along with some historical information. We had plenty of opportunities for photos and rest stops at many viewpoints during which Brandon provided narrative about San... More

If you can only have time for one tour, go to SoSF and do the Heart of the City tour. It'll let you see the best places of San Francisco, and if you are lucky and Josh is your guide, even better. He is very friendly and knows the little secrets and history behind every mural. Definitely a must do

We had a great time with Brandon (super nice!) in our small group. It was a rainy morning so they pushed back our tour and we only toughed it out for a bit in the rain, and the rest of the day ended up being beautiful!

Staying in Hayes Valley

Neighborhood Profile
Hayes Valley
Chock full of designer boutiques, art galleries, funky shoe stores, and great restaurants, it’s hard to imagine Hayes Valley once languished in the shadow of a major freeway. Its removal allowed for the creation of an attractive boulevard on Octavia Street with a community park at its center and dozens of trendy businesses to satisfy visitors looking for a stylish respite.
