Low pressure, fun walking tour. You end up stopping at unique spots you otherwise wouldn’t see. Beth was knowledgeable, and kind. We did the tour as a family of 6 (2 adults and four daughters ages 8 to 16). All of us thoroughly enjoyed it!

Wonderful morning exploring Chinatown and Little Italy. We split our family into two teams and raced to find the clues. Beth customized our tour for my kids who are learning Chinese, to make it more of a challenge for them. Everyone loved the competition and it was a fun way to see the area. Beth was an excellent guide and kept things interesting and engaging. She provided food samples for everyone to try some Chinese fruit and candy. This was a great way to spend our morning. Would definitely recommend. We finished in Little Italy and had lunch there.

Thank you Karen for the review and photos! It was great to see your family have so much fun with the friendly scavenger hunt competition. Was fun to see the kids use their Chinese language skills! --Beth

Beth was informative, fun, kind and patient. Great knowledge about Chinatown and Little Italy with fun facts and test at the end of tour. Loved her energy and personality. Would definitely join another tour with her!

The City Clues Adventures scavenger hunt was a great addition to our bachelorette trip. Beth and Linda were great! They had customized a wedding-themed/bachelorette-trip scavenger hunt with inclusion of food clues and cocktail stops for us. The cost of food was included in the price, but the cocktails were not--which was great because some of us don't drink! All the girls and the bride-to-be had a blast! And, it's a great way to explore the city! It was a bit of a walk so the food was definitely a treat. It kept us going!

We had three families combined into two teams competing on a scavenger hunt with adults, kids and teens. We had so much fun exploring the city - no time to stop and shop we were on a mission. We highly recommend this to groups, families and anyone that has adventure and fun on their mind.

While visiting SF I wanted to do a guided tour, but wasn't sure a traditional tour would have worked with my youngest child, so we booked a City Clues Adventure tour. It turned out that my kids (ages 13 and 4) and I were the only ones signed up that day. I think the kids would have been more enthusiastic about the scavenger hunt part of the tour if there had been more people participating. We did get to see a few things that we wouldn't have seen on our own and it was nice to get some input from someone who lives in the city.

We booked a family scavenger hunt tour the first day that we arrived in SF and it was a perfect way to start the vacation! There was so many hidden treasures, fun little games, and enough variety that kept my whole family entertained for 3.5 hours (which is not an easy task!).

I was a faculty adviser on a recent school field trip led by City Clues Adventures. As the students sprinted through the various activities, I was very impressed with Linda & Beth's organization and creativity. The questions were just the right level to be challenging but not impossible, and the wide range of different types of tasks (traditional scavenger hunts, poetry writing, skits) kept the students engaged throughout the day. I have encouraged my school to use City Clues again, and I recommend it highly to other groups who want to learn more about San Francisco and to have a lot of fun, too.

We found Beth very accommodating. When we couldn't make the hunt scheduled for earlier in the day she did a special hunt just for us. We were pleasantly surprised to find that the hunt had been personalized for our special occasion and family. Two adults and kids ages 6 and 11 had a great time and we were all involved in finding the answers to the clues. She even pointed out a playground for us to return to after the hunt.
