The whole day was great and Dan was very informative and doesn't stop talking and giving you information. Each wine tasting stop costs about $25 to 35 per person on top of the tour cost. We had a group of 4 and everyone enjoyed the day and had a great location for the picnic. Couple of things could have been better, the documentation says call us a day before to confirm. Tried to do this again and again - but no answer - so had to hope they turned up. At the first stop you are given your bikes and verbal directions and off you go. Dan drives to the next stop. 1 - a map with directions would be better. 2 - a mobile number for contact - because as soon as Dan left, 1 of the group had a puncture and no way to contact Dan. 3 - maintenance of bikes - 1 of the bikes tyres was almost bold. 4 - carry more inner tubes. We had 2 punctures on the day and they just had enough.…

We had book through Viator and received a confirmation. Unfortunately after arriving at the meeting point and over half an hour of trying to get through to the company they finally informed us that the tour was cancelled. Apparently they said it could not have run as there wasn’t enough people and knew this in advance but didn’t bother to let us know.. I would avoid and either book a private tour or book with a more reliable company…

Did an afternoon bike trip to two breweries and one tap room. Host Danny was excellent. Made everybody feel comfortable on their bikes despite different skill levels. At each stop he revised the history of the neighbourhood we had just travelled through. He has a definite passion for food, beer and life. Definitely recommend. The route was fairly flat. …

My sister and I originally picked this package because we wanted to go to Alcatraz and thought that this sounded like the best package deal. Alcatraz was sold out when we started planning our trip, so this was our opportunity to go. We REALLY lucked out because this wine tour ended up being my sisters favorite part of our trip and definitely one of mine! Our tour guide, Danny, was very knowledgable, had a great sense of humor, and was very personable! The lunch that we had on this tour was our favorite meal on vacation. We went on the tour with 6 other people and we were all from different countries, which was a lot of fun! Being able to bike and taste test with the group was a great set up. The scenery was absolutely gorgeous and it was so interesting to see the vineyards and wineries! All of the employees at the wineries were very nice and some even explained their process to us. It cost between $20-$35 to taste test. No matter what kind of wine that you like, you are bound to find ones you like and some that you didn't realize that you liked. Alcatraz was also an amazing part of our trip! The audio tour was great because you can start and stop whenever you want and it gives you directions on where to go in the prison. I definitely highly recommend this package deal! My best advice is to be aware that you will probably be sore after the bike ride through wine country (we probably biked for an hour and 15 minutes or so), unless you are someone that bikes often. Also, Alcatraz is much colder than it is on the shore of San Francisco! We wore coats out there. On the other hand, the wine country was much warmer than San Francisco.…
