Three days before Christmas, the weather was perfect for photography on the water. The Golden Gate Bridge was very visible, and you can get some interesting shots of the land from the water. We went way out of the San Francisco Bay looking for whales...More

We're sorry your experience was not what you were expecting. As is the case with most forms of transportation on time departures are very important. We are not able to hold the boat for late arrivals as this upsets all of the passengers that arrived...More

Had a great time today on the trips, saw a whole bunch of whales even though it was foggy! Also saw lots of birds and seals. Sea sickness preventatives are a must!

Incredibly cool! Capt Joe was friendly and all about safety and scoping out the whales. Kim the naturalist taught us a ton. We saw harbor porpoises galore, incredibly beautiful jellyfish (sea nettles), and best of all several humpbacks. Plus a ton of birds, including murres,...More

Hi Samantha G, It is generally cool in San Fran in October so I suggest to bring a light to medium weight jacket. It could also be windy. You can always leave the jacket inside the boat if you don’t need it.
