Well worth the crowds. Parking is difficult on the south side and better on the north side of the bridge. The north side of the bridge is open to cyclists after work hours, usually around 3PM. Go early or late, avoid 10 am-3pm. You can...More

The Bay bridge is beautiful, especially at night when the suspension cables are lit up and "dancing" with the light that's shining on them. You can get a great glimpse of this bridge from the SF Ferry Building. Go out the back side of the...More

A double decker very long bridge over the bay. Beautifully lit at night time. Pedestrians cannot walk over this bridge.

Great way to see the city from another point of view. Also it's a faster way into the city from that side of town. It seems to be more for the local travel than the golden gate.

Make sure to check out the bridge at night. There is a light show that happens every night on the sides. Fun, smooth ride across.

Defiantly worth seeing. You can see it when you travel on the ferry to Alcatraz Prison. You can see on a clear day.

The bridges are cool, two spans of them to get you from Oakland to San Francisco. But the traffic is horrible at 6pm. I've spent significant time in most of the worst traffic the U.S. can throw at you and this ranks right at the...More

Hi, I drove only to the Treasure island, and that section is free, no tolls. Don't know what happens after it. Sorry

You only pay tolls going into SF. Bay bridge is $6-ish. Golden Gate is $7.25 unless you have a FasTrak. Might be worth getting one if you are renting a car. It's much easier. The cash lanes on the Bay Bridge depending on the... More
