So the service is friendly. Mostly attentive. But I had, perhaps the worst two martinis I've ever had. We were staying at the hotel so this was our watering hole. I tried a martini on our first night of the stay and it was horrendous. Stale olive juice or something. Whatever it was the martini was tasteless and borderline warm.... More

My husband and I popped to the Redwood Room for a pre-dinner cocktail on a recommendation from a friend. The cocktails were delicious and well made. Definitely quality over quantity in this place! So the cocktail menu wasn't extensive. Modern and well presented interior, it was perfect for a pre-dinner drink, at $15 per cocktail, best for quiet more intimate... More

The food was delicious and comparable in price to other restaurants. Drinks were creative and the room is gorgeous. Friendly staff too!

Great experience at the Redwood room. Nice relaxed atmosphere, mostly established crowd in 30-40's. Drinks were delicious, try the ones with rooftop honey, only downside is cost. dropped 100. for a few drinks. Enjoyed the experience here.

Weekend nights are $325 minimum for a table. We just wanted a couple cocktails after dinner. They did politely offer the lounge area near the checkin area (inside Clift Hotel) and we were served superbly by the waitress. Cocktails & service were good and worth the stop; minimum fee for a couple - not so much. We will say, hostess... More

Went to the Clift Hotel for drinks one evening after dinner with a friend. The room is a great space, but unfortunately it was packed with the nouveau richer Silicon Valley jerks who spent most of the time posing. The room was crowded and all of the areas for seating is reserved for people who pay outrageous prices for bottle... More

The Redwood Room off the lobby in the Clift Hotel is a good place to meet friends or business associates after work or on the weekend. The bar offers a variety of seating and tables. Both food and drink are available including salads, seafood and assorted appetizers.

The tired old "Happy Hour" takes on a sophisticated new twist at the Redwood Room in the late afternoon. This dark wood imbues a relaxing ambiance in the late afternoon. All items are reasonably priced at $6.00, making it especially appealing to tired shoppers with thin wallets.

The Clift's Redwood Room is made from one large redwood tree. The wood is amazing. During the day you can see several digital Klimt paintings but at night the frames change; get the story from one of the servers! Delicious drinks and munchies! Don't miss this San Francisco experience right down from Union Square

This is a great place to stop if you don't want to be at a real night club, and not a dive bar. Nice cocktails. Service was ok. Location is perfect. Pretty good DJ, we had a good time.
