We went here as we were looking for a house in the Pacific heights area. Glad we came across here as the views were stunning. Although the steps are hard work it's worth it when you get to the top.

This is a fun set of stairs to climb. You will get views of the bay, see an SF heart, and at the top is billionaire's row. Depending on when you go you will see exercise classes going on or just folks taking pictures because the views are awesome. Right near the Presidio and near the Palace of Fine Arts.... More

Amazing view from the top of the steps - great start to a walk down to the Marina. Great place for exercise as well!

We really enjoyed this spot in Pacific Heights on the corner of Broadway and Lyon St. It is so pretty surrounded by beautiful gardens and gorgeous mansions. The views are incredible. Good photo opportunities. Would recommend if you're in the area.

We walked all the way down these steps on a rainy day. There are great views which were limited because of the rain but still worth doing. There are amazing houses and gardens to see as well. There was a fitness group running up and down (power to them!) but they were polite and waited for us.

A friend recommended that I walk up to the Lyon Street Steps and enjoy the view. I am not used to walking hills and Lyon Street becomes very steep once you get past the Presidio. The steps are also not for people who are out of shape like me. The locals use them as an exercise track, running up and... More

A must experience for those visiting the Pacific Heights area of San Francisco. There is a beautiful garden halfway down the steps. The views of Alcatraz, Palace of Fine Arts and Angel Island are wonderful.

These steps should not be missed!! The bottom of these steps are at Lyon &Green in the Pacific Heights area of San Francisco. We were entertained by the locals "running" the steps and enjoyed the sights and views on the way up and at the top. This is an area where you can view some of the finest mansions of... More
