Because you can't eat inside because of COVI-19 restrictions, in the back parking lot they have setup an area where you can get a little bit of everything to eat from salads, sandwiches, burgers and a pizza with tables furnished. However, the the bay wind it can be a challenge so I just ate in my car. Had a crab salad sandwich-marvelous!

This is a great place for a coffee / latte / tea. And if you re feeling, say, a chocolate croissant, well, they can hook you up. TIP: look up! There is a conveyor system for transporting the baked goods around the building.

After having the necessary and yummy chowder in a bread bowl we went upstairs and spend some time watching the bakers work. You can see the dough being made and then pulled into loaves and then baked. Smells great and was fun to watch.

My wife and I visited here for lunch one day. We heard they had really good clam chowder. The location is great; right on the water in the middle of everything on the Wharf. The food is just average. It is what you would expect from a tourist restaurant. There are tons of great places to eat in SF but this place is just average. Expect to pay tourist prices for average food.
