Wow. This place will really surprise you in its depth and completeness covering the life of Walt Disney. You go in thinking 1-2 hours tops, and you quickly realize that you could spend a couple of days in here easily trying to absorb all the material. This is a paradise for any historian. If you have small children thinking this... More

This is a must see if you like anything to do with Disney. It has all kinds of artifacts that give a good picture of his early years and the tireless effort he put in to create the famous characters that he is known for. Clearly, he was a visionary and did not allow setbacks to stop him from achieving... More

If you're a Disney fan ,(who isn't?) you'll enjoy this great place. Walt's story of his childhood and his work pre and post Mickey is very well told and, as you would expect, the visuals are great. It's not just for children. A fitting memorial for a unique legend.

If you are a Disney fan and in the San Francisco area then you will want to stop here. There are all kinds of cool artifacts and memorabilia from the early days of all things Disney! Plus you get some great views of the Golden Gate Bridge.

Loved visiting the Museum -- and it's great to be in the middle of the Presidio; to see the vista of the Bay and Golden Gate Bridge. Unassuming, in a beautifully restored brick building, the museum is well-organized. Glad the Disney family here made the contribution / investment. While the exhibits are great for all ages -- younger probably for... More

I thoroughly enjoyed visiting this museum. It is excellently put together and provides a great history of the Disney family, with a huge amount of memorabilia. I enjoyed the Pinocchio special exhibition that was on at the time and seeing how the animation is all pulled together, and my husband enjoyed learning about Ub Iwerks multiplane camera. We spent about... More

The museum has some interesting stuff, it's recently done and well organized. On the other hand, $25 is a LOT to pay for a glorified Disney ad.

A well-presented, informative interactive museum that appeals more to older guests or ultra Walt enthusiasts. Our kids (9 &12) only know the 'Disney' products, ie. films and characters, and not much of the history. And they weren't really interested in learning it either unfortunately. Since we were, it was a bit too slow and 'boring' for them. Not to say... More

Went here in January with my daughter in law and my grand daughter. WE all had a wonderful time playing with exhibits, listening to stories, etc. Highly recommend if you are a Disney fan!
