It was interesting to see and read the beginnings of Walt Disney; to see how he pursued and succeeded. It was neat to see some of the original drawings from the classic Disney films. Lots of reading involved and not really meant for playing around.

Stay at any chain hotel in the Fisherman's Wharf, Embarcadero , Financial district. There is a free express shuttle bus to the Presidio that drops you off at the visitor center, about 100 yards from the museum. See this... More

I don't recall specifically but they do have elevators to all levels as I also have physical disabilities.
