We purchased a three day ticket. Our first day we had another activity booked and so just wanted to use the bus for the last few hours of the day. The leaflet we had said that the buses ran until 5pm. So at 3pm we started queuing in the rain for one. Nothing. no buses at all that afternoon seemed... More

Used to poopoo the sight seeing tour buses, but the more we use them the more I like them. They seem expensive at first, but if you get a reasonable start, you'll quickly discover that if you tried to do all that you see on the buses, you'd spend way more on buses, and cabs and wouldn't get half the... We were initially pretty confused about how the hop on hop off tour worked but all the staff we encountered helped explain it wonderfully. We booked the Golden Gate, Sausalito and Muir Woods tour. Due to heavy rain we decided to cancel the Muir Woods part of our excursion. CORY and RACHEL went out of their way to make us... More

We had a pre-paid tour with Magic Bus and they never showed up. There we were with no bus tour and no Alcatraz tickets waiting at Union Square. City Sightseeing employees helped us get tickets on their bus and saved our day. The tour guide was funny and informative. We enjoyed the view from the top of the open bus.... More

The tour should have been an interesting and informative guide to San Francisco. Instead , we had the misfortune of having a tour guide who was immature, rude , and clearly not interested in imparting information on the city. He was more intent on telling the passengers of his own rather uninteresting lifestyle. We pay the wages of these people,... More

We only had about a half day to tour the city and grab lunch before heading to the airport for home. We chose City Sightseeing Tours of San Francisco, and their 90 min "hop on/hop off" downtown tour for $30.99. They were running a 1/2 off special on Groupon but the adult seats were sold out for the Groupon deal.... More

Riding on the double decker bus, a transplant from England, is the best way to get intimate with SF. The city tour is excellently commentated and the driver ensured a smooth ride. Although it is a hop on and off tour, DON'T GET OFF BECAUSE YOU WON'T BE ABLE TO HOP BACK due to the large numbers of sightseers. The... More

Picked up our two day sight seeing tickets yesterday from the Columbas Ave office. Staff very helpful and friendly. 'Wheels' our tour guide and 'Constintine' our driver provided a great tour. Informative, funny and local 'quips' made for a great 90min trip

Got a 3 day tour package and did a few of the tours. The Muir Woods tour was awesome and well worth it. You had 1.5 hours in the park to walk around which was perfect. The downtown tour was ok and offered flexible hop on hop off spots with frequent pickup but you had to let them know in... More
