About
Climb to the top of San Francisco’s tallest skyscraper to get panoramic views of the city and bay from 1,070 feet high. Created by renowned architect César Pelli, this 61-story obelisk-shaped tower serves as the office for Salesforce and occasionally opens up to the public for tours and viewings on its highest floor. Slots are limited though, so book as soon as they are available to secure your spot. Even if you're not able to head up the building, you'll likely pass by the tower on a guided city tour of San Francisco. – Tripadvisor

As a private person you can't get in the tower.
You can visit the salesforce park and that's something you SHOULD do. On weekends there are often music events and there's so much green nature and water playing on the fourth level... in the mid of the city... it costs nothing... wonderful!

The Salesforce Tower is an impressive glass tower adjoining the Transit Center. I do not know and do not understand how some people managed to climb and enjoy the view because when we came (April 2024) and after asking the tower employees, the climb is reserved for authorized people working in the building. Really bad...

Great panoramic views of san francisco on the highest building in town, and a great cafe (employee/guest only), the best cafe and place for work. The display in the lobby is nice too. good memory

The Salesforce Tower is curerntly a business building that i the tallest building currently in San Francisco.
As such one can see the tower from many places in San Francisco.
From the building itself there are nice views of the Bay area.

Between the sleek architecture, rooftop garden and access to most of the transit I need on my visits, this has become a favor spot of mine. Part of me misses the old Transbay Terminal and the green streetcars, but this is a much needed improvement. And the best part is that my bus from SFO stops a short walk from the bus I take to my hotel in the Richmond.

We went with a Save the Bay event and loved it. We feared the light fog coming in would obscure the view. However, we were above it, which was cool. It did cloud over by the time we left, but we had cricled the outstanding views by then. Note: there is a kitchen and we were served excellent chicken sandwiches and empanadas on trays held by waiters. A long table of other goodies were also delicious.

I am admittedly biased because I work for Salesforce, but the new tower is absolutely spectacular. I had the opportunity to go to the top floor — floor 61 — last week and it is truly breathtaking. In true salesforce fashion that floor will be open for the public and the community to enjoy eventually and you should take advantage of it if you get the opportunity to go up there. It’s a view of San Francisco that is truly unforgettable.

I do not care for the architecture of the buiding, but then as a native San Franciscan I am not in favor of buildings ruining our beautiful skyline. That said, the concept of the gardens and bus terminal not only unique and beautiful, but served an essential purpose.

I signed up for a couple of tickets to go to the top of Salesforce at the end of September. Being in San Francisco, the biggest concern whether we would see anything if the fog rolled in.
It was a patchy cloudy day and looked like it would clear out by the time my wife and I reached the top. The “helpers” were very hyper and excited that we were there. A quick verification of our appointment with ID and a walk through the security detector was done expeditiously .
At the top, it was a nice view but not spectacular. Full disclosure , I have been to the top of Taipei 101, Willis Tower and the Burj Khalifa and those were spectacular views. San Francisco, not so much yes, you see the Bridges , Bay and the smaller buildings in the area but it did not excite us. The room was clean and had restrooms.
We could have stayed for an hour but were bored after 20 minutes. We took the elevator down by ourselves and were met with confused faces at the bottom.
“Everything OK, don’t you want to stay longer”
“ Don’t you think it was great”
These were the questions thrown at us. We exited the building and felt it was a one and done.
