This tour far exceeded my expectations. Ahmet is an excellent guide providing interesting facts about the neighborhoods and San Francisco, while keeping us on a good walking pace with just the right amount of stops. And lots of wonderful foods to sample! Although I'm a San Francisco and Bay Area native, I have driven the streets but never experienced at... More

The Gourmet Walks Chocolate tour was a unique gift I received for my birthday. We met our guide, Stephanie, at the designated location where she presented her chocolate 101 lecture. After a nicely organized talk, complete with pictures, exhibits and samples, we set out on our tour of seven excellent shops. At each location, we were provided with two or... More

This was my second experience with Gourmet Walks Chocolate Tour. We were lucky to not have very many people on our tour so we were able to take our time. Marie gave us a great experience. Visited lots of local candy shops. Next time I would like expand our food palate by taking the food tasting tour.

Marie is super! Do yourself a favor, start this food tour on an empty stomach. You will enjoy great pizza, fish tacos, local cheeses, gourmet meats and terrific sweets. Lots of food, but Marie comes prepared with plastic bags if there is any of the letft over so you can take it with you. This is the best of three... More

My sister-in-law and I purchased the Gourmet Chocolate walking tour for our mother-in-law for her birthday while visiting San Francisco for the first time. As someone who is lactose intolerant I didn't have high expectations and was merely something fun to do because my MIL LOVES chocolate. I was pleasantly surprised by not only the knowledgeable guide but that each... More

My wife and I took the tour led by Vrie and had a great time. Make sure you come hungry because you will eat a lot. There's also quite a bit of walking, so wear shoes you can walk both uphill and downhill in. Vrie was an excellent tour guide and has a wealth of knowledge of the food scene.... More

We brought a group of clients to San Francisco for the gourmet chocolate tour and had Nicole as our tour guide and have nothing but great things to say about the whole experience. Nicole was so personable and sweet and informative and everything was close and convenient and our whole group had the best time!

Marie did a great job on our chocolate tour! She was funny, informative, and appreciated our ability to only eat so much! It was a good walk - definitely wear walking shoes - and bring water to wash it all down. There were some opportunities to buy chocolate but it wasn't pushed. Tried some really great tasting chocolate - opportunities... More

My cousins, husband and I had a wonderful time with Maria Antonio on a walking tour of Hayes Valley! Maria was so friendly and had many interesting facts about the area and of course, she took us to some great places to eat! This was a perfect way to see a section of San Francisco and taste great food from... More
