We just spent a bit more than 2 hours visiting Japantown and Fillmore St with Gourmet Walks, our tour being led by Ahmet Aydogan. It was fantastic! We enjoyed a fresh bagel from Wise Sons Deli, onigiri and green tea from Kissako Tea in Japan Town, a Vietnamese sandwich from Bun Mee and the best ice cream I've ever eaten... More

I can't recommend this enough!! I went to Napa on my own. Had never been there and I'm from So Cal. I absolutely loved this excursion. It was perfect for me; I made friends and enjoyed good food and drinks. Mary, my tour guide, was so sweet, knowledgeable, and just fun! This was the perfect combination of great food and... More

San Francisco walking tour with Nicole started off down a side street through a nondescript door into a tiny but very hip space that serves crazy delicious mind-blowing tacos along with delicate Aqua Frescas. Nicole must have spent a lifetime eating out and finding interesting people who produce heavenly food from all over the world. My 11 year old granddaughter... More

My son worked in the Hayes Valley and always bragged about the food so we decided to take a foodie tour. All I can say is wow! Nicole gave us an unbelievable experience (calling it a tour would be a disservice). A world class back alley taco bar, bhan mi sandwhiches, gingerbread cupcakes, and the list goes on. Just an... What a fun way to see another side of San Francisco! My friend and I wanted to do something a little different and unusual since we've seen most of the standard tourist spots before. A quick Google search led us to the Gourmet Walks and the chocolate tour spoke to us! Our guide was Stephanie and she was personable and... More

Bubbly, happy, informative, and fun - All perfect words to describe Marie. She lightens the mood with a contagious laugh and makes the experience memorable. Food was good - highlighted by the Za pizza and fish tacos. While the bone broth and cucumber tea weren't my personal favorites others seemed to enjoy them... Good way to spend the early afternoon... We took the tour with Ahmet as our guide. First, a lot of information about chocolate and where it comes from, how it is made, and how to taste it. Then, on to the tour, starting at the Ferry Bulding. There was chocolate - lots of very good chocolate! There was time to stop and buy chocolate as well (some... More

We had the most amazing tour of Russian Hill with Marie - she was the perfect tour guide! She provided so much useful information about the food, the restaurants and shops that we visited and the owners. It was a perfect way to spend a day in San Francisco - I would highly recommend to tourists and locals alike! We... More

Marie lives in the area so her information was relevant, timely, interesting and informative. The first part of the walk possibly burned enough calories to justify the later calories. . .don't I wish! We sampled tacos, pizza, California cheese, gelato, tea, oatmeal cookie, and gourmet meats. Marie is an excellent tour guide and answered questions quickly. This is my second... More

As a person who loves Asian culture (especially the food) this tour sounded like my heaven, and it was. Ahmet, our tour guide, held the tour with just a very nice Swedish couple and I, and he met us with fresh cookies, which aren't normally a part of the tour! We got to learn all about a beautiful part of... More
