The Yoda Fountain is a fountain with a bronze statue of the Rising Star Wars character Yoda, installed in Lucasfilm's offices at the Letterman Digital Arts Center. We stopped out of curiosity because we were not far away and we were going to the adjacent park because apart from the figurine, nothing extraordinary. A fountain....

Obviously, my rate would've been different if it wasn't for Covid. Yes, the place was "Temporarily closed", we only saw the Yoda Fountain ..and maybe employees coming out of the building? or I hope they were employees. I'd be disappointed if they were just visitors like me lol. Not as many people either, probably because they looked on Google before arriving here. However, my fiancé is a huge Star Wars fan. He loved it. Just a little disappointed because the building is not open.

Oh, if you do decided to park in front of the Yoda fountain. You'll be stop by a security guard upfront of the entrance. Once we told him we were only here for the Yoda Fountain, he gave us permission to let us by with a 30min time spam. We left yesterday, June 1st, 2021

If you're in the area (taking public transportation to the Presidio or doing the hop-on hop-off bus), then it's worth the 10 minute walk to see the Yoda fountain. The Lucas Films campus is very quiet and beautifully landscaped, so it's a nice walk. I used the app Citymapper to find it, and then also to find my way to the Presidio Visitor Center.

If you have any interest in pop culture, you must visit the Yoda Fountain at Lucasfilm while in San Fransisco. While it is *just* a fountain, it is pretty cool to be able to walk all around the Lucasfilm campus even though you can’t go inside. It’s a beautiful area to walk around. They are friendly at the security kiosk and are happy to let you park for a reasonable amount of time.

It's exactly what it says it is. But man is it funny. Glad we stopped to see it. Could be a cool picnic spot and by a beach and the golden gate bridge.

I hadn't read any reviews on Tripadvisor for this one prior to our visit. I knew there was a Yoda Fountain in the Presidio park which I thought my daughter would appreciate being a Star Wars fan, but what I didn't realise was, it stands outside the LucasFilm building which hosts a few Star Wars artefacts inside.

It has a small reception area with a manned reception desk. Not knowing whether it was a workplace, tourist spot etc, I enquired whether it was okay to take a look around. It was AND it is free! The reception area houses a lifesize Darth Vader, R2-D2, Darth Maul's light-saber, to name a few.

Definitely a gem in San Francisco

any Star Wars fan in SF must/has to go and visit Lucas Film and get a picture with Yoda. There's some very cool stuff in the windows of the office and as long as there's nothing on, you can take some pictures around the reception area.

This is just a quick stop for a photo and a peek inside the lobby if they're open. Keep in mind that it's a working studio/office, so make it a quick stop and be respectful of that. It's a good stop on a walk through the Presidio.

When Yoda is available wherever you find yourself roaming, how can you pass up the opportunity to visit?
