City Hall but it seems to be a Capitolium. For me very similar cupola with the Dome of Invalides in Paris. Sunday morning it was closed. Nice Lincoln statue before the building.

San Francisco City Hall is where you can buy your marriage license, and you'll often see couples in various vignettes of the building having their own private ceremonies.

This city hall is gorgeous gilded in gold. Any day of the week and you can see the 100s of happy couples lining up to be married here. It's quite romantic and great for private events.

Beautiful building! Maybe one of the most beautiful that I've ever seen. It is a piece of Europe architecture here in America.

Entrance is free, and there is a free tour I am hoping to take next time. The detail inside was beautiful. I love seeing these old buildings. It was definitely worth the visit, do take time to walk up to the other floors.

You can visit City Hall free of charge. It is very ornate and the grand staircase is worth photographing along with other parts of the architecture.

Civic Center
Civic Center is the seat of power for all things
government and performance-related in the city.
Although its streets are best walked during daytime,
numerous cultural gems are within close proximity to
one another. The symphony, opera, ballet, and jazz
center offer year round entertainment within the
shadow of the city’s Beaux-Arts crown jewel: the gold
tipped dome of City Hall.
