We took the 4 p.m. Bay cruise as we wanted to catch the bridge near sunset. Although the bay was quite choppy and it was very windy and cold, the large boat gave us a fairly smooth cruise. They provide a lot of information about the city and the islands and there is plenty of opportunity to get some great... More

$23 round trip for an adult to Sausalito and back. * The panoramic views of the area from the boat are very scenic. We went past alcatraz island, stopped at Angel island, Tiburon, then finally Sausalito. * I'd recommend taking a sweatshirt along, the ferry ride was cold, but worth it to sit outside. * I'd also recommend selecting a... We enjoyed being on the water and seeing both bridges of the bay and the view of Alcatraz, I thought the information coming from the ship speakers should be louder or have more speakers, as we missed some of the valuable info that would've made it a better learning experience for everyone, but other than that... the staff was great,... Wanted the experience of being in the bay on a nice day. However, we would have done Angel Island, but in my planning if we caught the first ferry to Angel Island, we'd be there for 6 hours before we could come back to Pier 41 due to the limited weekend schedule. I didn't want to stay that long that... More

I grew up in the bay area and had never done this until we just went with our family. It was included in our SF City Pass. It was 1 hour. We got our tickets in the morning and then walked and shopped along the pier. We were told to get in line 30-45 minutes before boarding. It had a... More

The boat and tour is really an effective way of seeing the sights in the bay in a reasonably short time, but the soundtrack is noisy and must have been made in the 1980's or even before that, and I don't mean that in a cool way. The embarkment is held up because they make everyone take a cheesy photo... More

We took the Blue and Gold Fleet as part of the SF City Pass. It was a nice about 1 hour cruise around the Bay with recorded narration. You head out toward the Golden Gate Bridge and around Alcatraz. Just check the times as there are specific times of departure.

This is a nice boat ride to see the Golden Gate Bridge and Alcatraz. It's nice to sit and relax and just enjoy the view and hear the audio commentary about the history of the Bay :) Cheapest ticket is 30$$

We biked the bridge and took the ferry home. Great system to loading the bikes. The bar had a range of snacks and beers etc. it's a basic service but does a great job.

Took the ferry back to Fishermans Wharf after biking over the Golden Gate Bridge and spending the day in Sausalito. What a great way to travel, plenty room on the ferry for all the bikes and with four decks (2 x internal and 2 x external) there is plenty of room to see the sights; Angel Island, Alcatraz, Golden Gate...
