The tour exceeded our expectations. Brandon was great! He was knowledgeable and made the trip lots of fun. Muir Woods was spectacular. Lunch in Sausalito was great. Ride through San Francisco was terrific. Thanks it couldn’t have been any better!

Took this tour with Brendan and was extremely happy with all we saw and did. Brendan was an excellent guide and clearly knew his way around the city. We were lucky because it was a small group (only five of us) and were able to get around the city easily in his van rather than his larger bus. Favorite stops included Twin Peaks where we had a GREAT view of the city, seeing the Painted Ladies, quick shopping during a stop in the Haight/Ashbury area, the Presidio, driving across the Golden Gate Bridge, and of course Muir Woods. The latter was spectacular and so peaceful and serene. We had enough time to walk out to the 4th bridge and do the upper loop back to the second bridge. I felt like I saw a lot and still had time to visit the gift shop and visitor center!!!! Lunch in Sausalito was nice—had pizza at Venice Pizza and had a great view of the San Francisco skyline. At the end Brendan dropped us off near our respective hotels. He even gave me a good dinner recommendation when I mentioned liking dim sum. Went to a place called China Live on Broadway. They had a variety of dishes but their dumplings were AMAZING and service was excellent.

One last thing as the meeting place on my confirmation voucher from Trip Advisor/Viator was a bit confusing—2800 Hyde Street is not an actual building. Instead it is the corner of Hyde and Beach near the cable turn around place with a Sees candy store on one corner, the Buena Vista cafe and a Starbucks on the other corners. When I couldn’t locate the actual tour company after walking all the way to the bottom of Hyde I called the number on my voucher and we found each other but if I didn’t have a phone that could have been a problem and a stress inducing event. Overall, I am very happy I took this tour (all of those 5-star ratings were spot on) and thought it was well worth the price I paid.

Thanks to other Trip Advisor reviewers we picked this tour. Our tour guide was informative, friendly, pleasant, funny .... we couldn’t ask for a better guide. The history, current events & just fun celebrity info was great. This 6 hour tour took us to many San Francisco famous spots and more. The alley of wall art was a nice addition. In beautiful Sausalito we had an hour for lunch & to explore. The sourdough sandwiches from the Venice deli were scrumptious. There was a man building rock sculptures that was fascinating to watch. Our next stop was Muir Woods. Wow what a serene place. The red wood trees are worth the trip. There are flat short distance paths or more challenging trails around the red woods. I great day of fun.

This was an amazing tour of San Francisco, with a visit for lunch to Sausalito and Muir Woods. Brendan- owner and tour guide extraordinaire. Made it a great day. He was very knowledgeable and funny. He grew up in San Francisco which makes him an expert and his sense of humor was great and added that little extra touch to the tour. He was very personable and took everything in stride. If you are going to San Francisco and looking for a great 6 hour tour....THIS IS THE ONE!!!!

We really enjoyed our tour and all of the information shared. Aaron was a great guide and enthusiastic and easy to hear/ understand. He was super informative and had a great sense of humor. He shared a lot about the neighborhoods and culture. I would definitely recommend the tour to anyone traveling to SF.

We went on the 6 hour tour of San Francisco, Sausalito and Muir Woods with Brendan as our host and driver. Despite visiting San Francisco previously but this tour company took our group to many interesting spots that I had not managed to visit previously including Twin Peaks, Fort Point and Billionaire’s row. Lunch in Sausalito was leisurely with an hour allowed to eat and wander around this beautiful spot. Day was topped off with a visit to the fabulous giant redwood forest of Muir Woods. Van is very well equipped and comfortable. Brendan is an amazing guide who was both knowledgeable and incredibly friendly. Small group of 6 made the tour even more enjoyable. Highly recommend this tour to anyone interested in learning a lot about and seeing a lot of San Francisco and the Bay Area in a short period of time.

The Alcatraz was the highlight of my trip. However the city tour section could be improved by better time management. Overall, the experience was quite worthwhile and satisfying.

We arrived in San Fran on a Princess Cruise and opted to take this small group tour instead of the cruise ship excursion. My 87-year old mother had never been to the West Coast and we wanted to be sure she was comfortable. We were not disappointed. Roland was our guide and his easy banter and expert narration were terrific.

Loved this tour, our most knowledgeable native-San Franciscan guide and the spots we got to visit! Would definitely recommend to anyone wanting to get a lay of the city. Make sure you do this first so you can take note of where you want to go back and visit during your stay (especially restaurants!)
