One of my favorite places to go to for a drink in San Francisco. They remodeled during the pandemic, and their re-do is beautiful. Thankfully it was just a few steps from my hotel near Union Square. One disappointing thing is they close super early now at midnight, I understand it might be good for business, but for a customer it sucks to show up at 11 and not be let inside because they close in one hour.
That being said, I love the vibe here. The bartenders are super cool, friendly, real. The drinks are superb, perfectly refined for the right taste. They aren't cheap, but this is San Francisco and running a business isn't cheap there either.
My favorite drink was their take on an White Russian/Espresso Martini, it elevated it and was delicious, but pretty much every other drink I tried was also great. "Turn Down For Nut" with Appleton Estate Rum, HITW Cold Brew, Black Sesame Honey, Frangelico Cream, and bitters. Incredible!
I liked the Thrilla in Manila: Evan Williams Bourbon, shiso, calamansi,
coconut, absinthe, li-hing mui ($14). You really can't go wrong.
Support this local spot! It's right by all the tourist things so if you're just visiting give them some love and tip well!

Oh. My. Goodness. This is the best cocktail bar I have ever been to. Was lucky enough to catch this place during their winter pop up. The cocktails were unbelievable. Super creative and worth every single dollar. Services was absolutely phenomenal. I woll make this a stop on every San Francisco trip. Can't say enough good things.

During our week in SF, I wanted to hit as many of the city’s well known cocktail bars as possible - from old-tuner to newly minted speakeasies. Well Pacific Cocktail Haven (PCH) did NOT disappoint.
Creative cocktails - long list of choices - and interesting decor. Every drink came with a chilled “sidecar” - the way they should.
After a couple of rounds at a table, we switched to the bar and discussed drinks and ingredients with the knowledgeable bartenders. All around great experience.
I highly recommend a visit when in SF.

Be weary of this spot. Visited the place a couple weeks ago and was surprised to realize they had added a $45 up-charge for a punch bowl - and a 56% increase for no reason. When I had asked the server if the charge was solely for the punch bowl (which normally costs $80) he said ‘yup’. Not sure how this is allowed but was shocked to see my receipt for $125 for one drink. Such a shame, and no accountability.

Not sure what we stumbled into. Cocktails were terrible. The good reviews on here just can't be legitimate. Everything looked great at first glance, but everything we tried was watered down swill and they tried to charge us almost 3 times as much as the menu suggested the drinks were.
Avoid.

Worth a visit specially if you are going for cocktails. Ended up coming 2 nights as we liked better both the quality and the prices of the drinks served.
Would recommend and will come again.

I was 50 years old last week and tonight got refused a drink in this bar. I do like to think I look a little younger than my age. But I don't look 30 years younger.
First time this has happened anywhere in the US.
Barmaid rude. Avoid

Recommended to us by our hotel. Very friendly and fun cocktail bar (also sells beer etc). Great atmosphere. Very welcoming staff. Great to watch them at work making the cocktails - blimey they work hard! Quite a young and I suspect local crowd. Were not that young and definitely not local but were made to feel very welcome. Loved it!

I've been to PCH about 4 times now in 2017 and I don't even live in SF! I live in Chicago! I'm lucky enough to be able to visit SF so often, which allows the repeat visits. Truly a fan of this place. Craft cocktails in an industrial setting. The bartenders are friendly, professional, and they know what they're doing. I love their aprons :)
The cocktail list is pretty extensive with sections that focus on different liquors.
