Bike the Bridge! At Blazing Saddles Bike Rental and Tours we want our guests to come away from a day on our bikes feeling as if they have just experienced the very best that our city has to offer. Whether it is a local resident enjoying our state of the art equipment or a visitor seeing the city for the first time, we encourage our riders to enjoy the bike friendly environment of San Francisco. Blazing Saddles was one of the first in the industry to develop a proprietary map of suggested routes and points of interest, and we have been a major pioneer in promoting cycling through the Presidio National Park, over the Golden Gate Bridge and into Sausalito and Tiburon. All of our seven locations in San Francisco have easy access to a car-free bike path that winds around the city by the bay. We have the largest fleet of bikes in San Francisco, including state of the art electric bikes, tandems and kids' bikes. We also have high performance road and mountain bikes for those who want to explore Golden Gate National Recreation Area and Mt. Tamalpais State Park. We rent bikes 365 days a year and are open at 8am every day. For those that want something more, we offer a daily tour with a friendly and knowledgeable guide. No reservations necessary.

We rented bikes in the morning and the did the bike ride to Sasolito in like 2hours. The ride was calm but there are some hills that are quite steep and challenging. Unfortunately was it very foggy when we did this and we didn't see much. But it is something you would do when in SF. A good way to... More

Was looking forward to renting bikes and riding across the bridge to Saucilito during our long SF weekend. Chose to rent on Friday because I read other reviews warning of overcrowded conditions on the weekends. Unfortunately, there were so many others with the same idea, as well as so many pedestrians on the bridge, it was virtually impossible to 'ride'... More

The service at BS could not be faulted, friendly, efficient, providing clear instructions. We hired a tandem and had never been on one before. We cycled over the GG Bridge to Sausalito and got the ferry back and it was an awesome experience. If I had to be critical in any way I think you should be warned that there... More

Renting was easy. After paying, we were given a bike, a helmet (which is mandatory for those under 18), and after watching a video which outlined the tour, we were off on our self-guided tour. Our ride across the Golden Gate Bridge was an incredible experience. The weather on top of the bridge was windy. The walkways were filled with... More

It sounds like a good idea...but pass on this! The warf area and Golden Gate Bridge are obstacle courses that should not be contributed to! Just a bad idea! Couldn't enjoy the view or the experience, too busy dodging people on phones and other bad bike riders! Don't do this!

This was one of the only ways we could get alcatraz tix. Turned out to be pretty good. The bike ride was tough. Who woulda thought San fran had so many steep hills? Kidding aside, it is a well oiled machine from the time you arrive to the safety video to the tour. Equipment was quality. My 9 year old... More

My husband and I rented bikes and did the trial that goes across the Golden-Gate and ending in Sausalito with a Ferry back. The people at Blazing Saddles showed us a video of the trial and gave us an easy to follow map. They also sold us tickets to the Ferry which was convenient. We did the whole trial, it... More

We loved our family bike ride across the Golden Gate bridge to Sausalito! The staff was very friendly when we arrived to pick up our bikes on Hyde Street. We watched a quick safety video and then they fitted us for helmets and bikes. We opted for the tour to Sausalito and ferry back to SF. I was a little... More

We hired bikes from Blazing Saddles during our stay in San Francisco as we wanted to ride around the wharf, across the Golden Gate Bridge and over to Sausalito and back. I made a booking online to secure the bikes and the bikes that we hired were in good working order and came with a bag at the front of... More

Did the obligatory, hire a bike + ride over golden gate! Wow! Then on to Sausalito for a look around/lunch, then ride on to Tiburon for a drink + ferry ride back to Fishermans wharf. Bikes in good condition, reasonably priced, good map provided + excellent signage on the way.
