Serving cocktails with character, Novela is a book-themed bar where classic literary references present themselves in new and intriguing ways. From our chromatically classified book collection, to the names of our house cocktails which are taken...more
This is a stylish bar which is well worth finding.
The staff are attentive and nothing is too much trouble.
There is a lively atmosphere with great music.
To drink we enjoyed the Ruby Slippers Special which was Aperol, Marmalade and Gin and I had...More
Had drinks at this stylish cocktail bar. Ordered a French martini and old fashioned. I felt very smart since I was surrounded by books everywhere. They also have photos of literary greats such as Kerouac, Hemingway, etc. I love the decor! Very cozy place.
The best place for book lovers and cocktail lovers! The decoration is to die for, the cocktails are strong.
I even met someone who has been to my country - Bulgaria!

South of Market (SoMa), has an urban and sophisticated vibe, but you're more likely to find big nightclubs and lots of industrial loft residences than you are to find boutique shopping. Although it’s the epicenter for tech startups in the city, visitors will be able to do more than just business - museums, top quality restaurants, and the San Francisco Giants now call this neighborhood home. Most of its freeway-sized
streets may not capture the same character as other neighborhoods in the city, but pockets of charm, like South Park, can still be found throughout its side streets.
