South of Market (SoMa), has an urban and sophisticated vibe, but you're more likely to find big nightclubs and lots of industrial loft residences than you are to find boutique shopping. Although it’s the epicenter for tech startups in the city, visitors will be able to do more than just business - museums, top quality restaurants, and the San Francisco Giants now call this neighborhood home. Most of its freeway-sized streets may not capture the same character as other neighborhoods in the city, but pockets of charm, like South Park, can still be found throughout its side streets.

I checked out this game with 5 other friends - it was an extremely fun, unique, and novel experience!
The owners also run an innovation lab so they have access to a bunch of different "future tech" toys based on newly-available technology. These toys and the fact that this game is a full 80-minutes (instead of the standard 60) makes this puzzles and the games a substantial and satisfying experience.
The room is decorated and constructed very well too - the engineering was solid and the whole game runs one some sort of automated system. The decor adds to the game and and the whole "future tech" vibe.
TIP FOR SUCCEEDING: One part of the game can get rather chaotic. Once your team gets a list of "tasks" to complete, I would recommend that there be one person be in "charge" of that list, to make sure that the team knows what still needs to be done and what has already been completed.

I was so doubtful that I would enjoy an escape room - the people who are too into escape rooms are not my people. However, I was converted - the concept was tongue-in-cheek, the jokes were well-executed, the puzzles were fascinating and difficult, and the staff was really welcoming! It was clear that endless months of craft went into designing the rooms, and the resulting experience was way more fun than I ever thought it would be.

Super fun activity. Challenging but not impossible. Unique experience with cool technologies. Really friendly staff. Went with a group from work, and would be just as (if not more) fun with group of friends. Highly recommend it.

I visited Reason for a team building activity with work colleagues. Overall, it was great! I was part of a 20 person team and there’s definitely more than enough puzzles/activities to keep everyone occupied all at one time. If you’re a techie at heart, this is the escape room to be at. Definitely would like to come back! :)

San Francisco is close to the epicentre of innovation, so it was fun to do a team building exercise that incorporates many of the newest technologies and is accessible to everyone and a lot of fun. Reason has a great set up, and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a unique experience among friends and/or colleagues.

Incredibly unique experience. Our group was made up of work colleagues. My father built a career on team building. I've also been working for corporations since 1994 so I think I know what I'm saying when I say, I've never been to a team building event as effective (or fun) as this one.

Highly recommend buying out the entire room (or two for competition) for a small team building event.

Reason's Escape Room is head and shoulders above others that I have tried. Their story-lines are immersive, and they perfectly balance the line between spelling things out to you and being too mysterious.
What really stands out about the experience, however, is their puzzles - the high-tech equipment they utilize makes the whole thing a much more compelling game than the standard games which lean mostly on basic riddle-solving and so on. This is not to say that the puzzles aren't challenging and well thought-out, but the use of drones and 3D printers and fun machines really adds a layer to it that makes for a memorable game.
Finally, the Reason team are superbly professional, and know just how and when to drop a hint enough to keep you engaged without making it too easy.
10/10 would play again - highly recommended.

So many puzzles! This was a unique escape room because the challenges were super high tech. Our team of about 17 played the game, and We were able to divide and conquer and all be productive.
The time went by so quickly, and we all had a lot of fun. Would definitely recommend this escape room!
