We enjoyed exploring this area of San Francisco. We enjoyed a good dinner while we were here and some fun things to do.

In between downtown and piers, this nice and clean neighborhood has some nice views over the bay from its top. It’s mainly residential, so there is not too many venues like restaurants or cafes. Tram passes by by climbing steep hill.

Of all the hills in San Francisco, I wasn't absolutely Blown Away by Russian Hill. There's a tennis court on top of a reservoir. And the Russian Hill open space is really kind of ugly.

Great place to just go for a wander, though take stout shoes - the hills are a bit steep! Lovely mix of architecture styles, some really nice properties about. Of particular interest to us was the entrance to Macondray Lane on Taylor Street - which...More
