About Extranomical Tours
Extranomical Tours is an independent San Francisco sightseeing tour company that specializes in small group tours to Yosemite, Muir Woods, Wine Country & around San Francisco. Due to the small size of our groups, our tours offer a distinct "traveling with friends" feel and can visit locations that larger tour buses cannot, like the Giant Sequoia Grove on our 1-day Yosemite Tour from San Francisco or small family-owned boutique wineries. We are fully insured and licensed by the State of California authorities. We train our guides one-on-one to make sure that they are knowledgeable, courteous and most of all, safe. We carefully select the locations we explore on our tours to maximize your time and allowing you to see the best local sights. We pride ourselves on maintaining an adventurous, yet easy-going atmosphere.

Very good. Gino was a great driver full of knowledge and interesting facts to share. The place is beautiful, really would like to spend a couple of nights there to do all the hikes.

Roman was a fantastic guide! We had a great, relaxing day starting at Muir Woods and then moving on to the wineries. Would definitely recommend booking with Roman!

Roman was the best tour guide for the Muir Woods, Napa and Sonoma day trip. The experience was perfect for locals and visitors alike. Roman was funny, knowledgeable and passionate about the Bay Area and Wine Country. He is well studied and helps you appreciate all the area has to offer. His jokes had the bus laughing the whole time! This tour and tour guide doesn’t disappoint!

It was a very nice experience. Our first time to Yosemite. We took the tour from San Jose. There was separate transportation from San Jose to the meeting point in Livermore before taking a larger bus to Yosemite. The transportation to and from Livermore from San Jose was smooth. The tour company set up Uber rides and it went well. Just don’t click on the text link until you are ready to be picked up. Everyone at the tour company was very helpful and quick replies to my questions via text. We really enjoyed the tour guide as well. He was informative and made several stops that led to amazing pictures. Would definitely take another tour with them again!

Overnight and long layover in San Francisco. Definitely did not want to spend the day in the city. Was very happy that I could book the afternoon tour of Muir Woods and Sausalito a few hours before it began. They called me straight away to confirm and also helped me on the phone find the pick up spot which was obscure, no street number and no tour signage at the Hilton Hotel, Union Square location. Dustin was our tour guide, and he was very laid back, informative and very caring towards his tourists, as well as friendly and chatty with his guests. It was fantastic to just sit back and relax and not have anything to worry about , since I had just experienced exhausting travel delays. Great experience being with the trees, getting an ice cream in Sausalito and driving around San Francisco. Dustin was very generous with his restaurant recommendations, even offering to text a spreadsheet of them!
