This is an excellent pub style bar. It has 84 beers on tap. You can get a great steak here for 15.00. Best deal at the Warf. Good atmosphere. Great staff and lots of tvs for sporting events.

This is a historic site with the connection t the sea and Del Monte foods, but whilst munch of the renovation has been done sympathetically (the Argonaut hotel and the National Park centre) the fact that so much is empty detracts fro what should have been a great place to experience

Next to the old cannery which was made into the Argonaut hotel the area has lively bars and odd shops. Interesting architecture is preserved.

The whole Fisherman's Wharf district is geared towards getting the most out of the tourist dollar, and The Cannery is not too different from the many other buildings in the area that houses both restaurants, bars and shops. And while it does have some history associated with it - it used to belong to the Del Monte Company and was... More

This read more interesting than it actually was however, it was worth a trip to view the local areas more than the Cannery itself

Littered with shops and souvenirs its your typical tourist trap. Parking is expensive and there is nothing earth shattering to sea. All the stores typical at a sea side tourist attraction, you can basically take this formula and label it at any number of places in the U.S. It rates average and if you missed it you didn't really miss... Home to a sculpture school. You can look through the windows and watch folks sculpt. Very few stores open. A few bars/restaurants. Not worth the trip.

We have been here in the past and found some small funky stores and stalls in an areas that was once a cannery hence the name. Its located in the Fisherman's Wharf right by the Argonaut Hotel. Its not like it once was, there is dining but apart from that little else.

After our short walk down Lombard, the crooked street, we found The Cannery by accident on our way to the Embarcadero. From the bottom of the crooked street, we walked from Leavenworth Street, towards The Cannery about 1/2 mile away. This appears to be a retail shopping district with some eateries. When we passed this site, it was “dead quiet”... More
