A beautiful building with hidden nooks and crannies with shopping, dining and, most importantly, the Ghirardelli shoppe which has everything you can imagine, as well as the best hot chocolate! Make sure you arrive early, in case the line is long, because they do close on time and you must be in line.

It looks like the main store is closed due to the Covid-19 period. However there is a small store by the Ghirardelli sign on Sunset Street. There are signs of how to order. The menu has a lot of options to enjoy the visit.

Is it bad that we sat in the square, eating a salted Carmel brownie Sunday watching people fitness?? We did. The Ghirardelli Store was great. So many things to choose from.... we got them all. Must visit while in San Francisco!!

This is a fun little square. If you're already in the area hop on over and spend 10-20 minutes walking around. Certainly don't make it a destination area. The Ghirardelli shop is really cool and the sundaes looked amazing. I had a hot chocolate which was really good. You can spend a lot of money if you're a chocolate fiend here but the rest of the square/shopping was just okay.
