Visit the Palace of Fine Arts late in the afternoon to catch the changing light of the evening and to watch the lights come on as the daylight fades away. This is a San Francisco park, but I have never seen a park policeman come...More

Nice architecture and gardens to walk around for a couple of minutes. It doesn't take long to visit this place. The Presidio area has several others sites of interest to visit close by.

Gorgeous to see! Stopped here on a bus tour. Would be beautiful at night. Awesome that they left the place stand with nothing inside.

We came past here at night and were blown away by the beauty of the lights and architecture in combination, of a type that is rarely seen on such a scale, especially outside Europe.

We stumbled upon this park while going to visit the Golden Gate Bridge. The buildings are very large and resemble roman architecture. There was a musician inside feeding the pigeons who was entertaining. The lakes had swans and ducks.

Beautiful homes, beautiful people, and a beautiful
backdrop of the Golden Gate Bridge welcome visitors to
the Marina. Originally the location for the
Panama-Pacific International Exposition in 1915 (whose
remnants can be seen at the Palace of Fine Arts), much
of the land was filled and flattened to accommodate a
world’s fair. That ample space has given way to a
jogger’s paradise at the northern edge of the city.

Greetings Ghie, I would go with late afternoon as the light would be fairly uniform with the sun being on the West, less interesting side, of the facility. The photographer should have an easier time getting wedding shots... More
