We have a plug-in hybrid EV that takes 2.5 hours to fully charge on a level 2 charger. The EV charging stations in Embarcadero Center parking charged us $300.00 for what should have been at most $8.00. The rates are (according to the phone you have to use if you're not on their service provider) is $2.00 for the first 4 hours, and $6.00 an hour after with a $20.00 "deposit fee" (that was never refunded).

I did work here one time and way back then the shopping area was full of stores and the bars and restaurants were full after work. Times have changed and a lot of the shopping is gone. The architecture is still iconic. The lights at Christmas are special.

This indoor-outdoor mall and entertainment center used to be hopping, especially at the end of the workday when everyone from the accompanying office buildings went to happy hour, to dinner, and out to do a little shopping. Then Covid hit, the offices emptied and they haven't refilled, so the plaza is quiet. The design is very pleasant so I hope it comes back to life.

I once worked here and it was a joy to wander through the shops at lunch time, and then maybe pop into a bar for happy hour. And there are a few good restaurants. The design is classic 70s urban renewal, a nice harmonious collection of a hotel and some office buildings that look like books in a library. Good design.

I enjoy the urban design of this large complex containing shopping, eating, offices and hotels. There is harmony in the architecture and it is very pedestrian friendly. Sadly with the decline of retail and work-from-home, the place is not as lively as it used to be, but it still looks good. Come here for a meal.

John Portman's huge redevelopment project is still a vibrant district near the bay. It has offices, retail stores, restaurants and a theater. Plus the Hyatt hotel is adjacent.

We were staying at the Hotel Vitale near the Embarcadero and avoided paying the $80 overnight parking fee by parking here for $24. We stayed in the Embarcadero 3 garage. This shopping center spans several blocks and is a pleasant walk!

Nice downtown business Park, so to speak. There are a few shops, but a lot of abandoned spaces. Probably a nice building complex to work in. Parking underneath, but it's not cheap. This complex was built in the 70s, but it's held up as a pretty nice place to hang out. My favorite thing to do here is to go to the Embarcadero Cinemas, Landmark Movie Theater. Don't drive, take BART. The third floor Promenade is a nice walk, but only if you're good with a lot of steps. After hours this place is very quiet, almost abandoned looking.

Nice place to shop local, but it is a bit too pricey.
Nevertheless I advise everyone visiting the bay area to check this place out!
