Inside the ferry building are many shops, markets and restaurants. The building architecture alone is worth the visit The surrounding grounds provide many interesting vistas!

So many choices, you can't have just one. Come with someone to share all the excitement! Pick your favorites and enjoy it outside on the bay. In the evening the view of Bay Bridge is absolutely amazing. A great place to recharge and relax before heading to Fisherman's Wharf.

Shops inside the building were unique and fun. Mushroom shop, pig parts (hams and salamis), spices, oysters, you name it! Wish we had not already had breakfast as we could have easily grazed at the outdoor Farmers Market. So much to see and choose from. Wish I had one of these at home!

Between the choices inside the Ferry Building and the Market stalls outside the building, you will definitely not go hungry. Lots of fresh seafood, fruits and baked goods everywhere. Just a fun environment to grab a quick bite of food, enjoy all the activity and do some shopping if you are so inclined.

I absolutely love this Farmer's market. If you can, go early in the morning. You will find everything from fresh fruit, flowers and produce, to delicious cheeses and meats, to top-notch pastries and sandwiches. My fiancé and I went this morning and feasted on everything from eclair to coffee to raw oysters! This is a great place to pick up... More

Great variety of food choices, all of which have great quality at fair prices. All wholesome locally- and PC-correctly rendered. Without the special parking permit that our son has, parking might well be an issue (I didn't see any legitimate disabled parking). Nice views of the bay and Bay Bridge, fascinating people-watching.

Thank equally
