We loved our time at Pier 39! Lots of great shops and amazing food options. Highly recommend taking time to watch the sea lions at the end of the pier.

great to watch the sea lions, I hope they keep the bay clean we saw so much litter around that will go into the water. the pier itself full of food stalls and lots of greasy smells and stalls expensive for small portions too.

Service animals (as defined in the Americans with Disabilities Act regulations) are allowed on Alcatraz Island and on Pier 33 Alcatraz Landing. Pets or companion animals are not allowed in either location.
