Its THE pier to visit in San Francisco. Lots of sealife to watch and plenty of good places to eat. You'll end up here one way or another.

The pier is touristy and not open during our visit but you walk down the side to see the sea lions - all clappy and loud, great sight to see them free and doing their thing in a natural shelter.

Not enough seals meals were ok though. It might have been the season. I love the clams and mussels and seafood.

The atmosphere and the views, the weather was clear but windy. The smell of cookies and cones filled the air. Always enjoy hot chocolate while on the pier. Perfect place to take family pictures. Awesome dinning at multiple established restaurants. Always one of our favorite weekend getaways.
