Being from the Midwest, we thoroughly enjoyed learning about lobster fishing and conservation from our experienced lobster fisherman, Captain John who even spoke about lobster anatomy as well as limb regeneration and the amazing research going on in the famous labs in Bar Harbor. Captain...More

A "Must Do" if in Bar Harbor. Caption provides very interesting information regarding the entire lobster industry. We watched him bait and pull in traps. We saw the seal swimming and sunning. It was a beautiful sunny afternoon and an awesome experience!

Lulu's lobster tour was much more entertaining than I expected. Captain John is more like a professor than a boat captain. He included everything from anatomy, life cycle, conservation to research. The seals had just recently given birth and it was neat to see the...More

There is a reason this tour gets such high reviews. The boat is very clean and converted with the comfort of the passengers a top priority. It looks like it was never actually used for commercial lobster fishing (too clean) but it is a real...More

We booked this trip 2 months in advance and were very excited for the day to arrive. In situations like this, your expectations can be a bit high which usually leads to being let down and being disappointed. Not in this case though! The captain...More

Hello, yes we do have a bathroom on the boat for emergencies. We do encourage everyone to use the bathrooms at our pier before we depart as they are a little more roomy!
