Excellent boat tour of coastal Mount Desert Island. Saw Acadia National Park from the water, as well as several lighthouses and a rescue station and some bonus seals that popped up to watch us. Narrating guide provided interesting information on history and culture of MDI with humor and clarity, without rambling on and on. At each lighthouse or interesting site,... More

We enjoyed the Lighthouse and Historical Tour. The Historian onboard was very knowledgeable and available for questions. The crew was extremely courteous and helpful. This is a great tour for all ages. We were also able to see lots of wildlife including some harbor porpoise, harbor seals and an eagle.

What a great trip we had whale watching. The tour was very informative and a lot of fun. The Naturalist was very knowledgeable about whales and their habits. We were able to see 6 whales. The crew was very concerned about the comfort and experience of those on the cruise. The staff that took reservations were very helpful in preparing... More

The nature cruise was about 2 hours. It was so nice to see Acadia National Park from the water AFTER seeing it from the "park loop." We also saw otters and many sea birds along with a light house. Lizzy our guide was very nice and the captain made sure all of us on the boat got to see the... More

We picked a wonderfully warm & sunny & clear day to do their Nature & Frenchman's Bay cruise. If you want to see mansions, Acadia highlights, the lighthouse on Egg Island as well as birds & seals, this is well worth your time. We had a very knowledgeable marine biologist for our guide & she shared much local history, biology,... More

We took their nature cruise. The tour guide was very informative and funny. He gave us a lot of information about the coast. We saw coastal houses, islands, parts of Acadia park, seals, birds, eagles. We learned about some of the history of this region and got educated in the geology as well. Reasonably priced for the amount of time... More

This inaugural tour was fantastic. Lighthouses, historian talking about Castine, 2 Naturalists & a photography expert made this cruise so memorable & unique. Lunch was good. The whole cruise was classy. Everyone we've mentioned it to want to do it next year. Please continue this special trip.

Thank you so much for this wonderful review. I am excited to say that we will continue this special day and next year operate this tour. Based on all the feedback we received through comment cards we will be moving the tour into the fall to capture the fall foliage on the river which should be spectacular! More

We were a bit past peak whale season, but we were not disappointed. After a 45-minute cruise to an area called the ballpark, we were treated to numerous whale sightings of five different whale species. The on board naturalist narrator was very informative. The captain did a great job of maneuvering the boat so that both sides got ample whale... More
