When I travel, I tend to look for local breweries and try samples of what they have. I tried the 6 beer sampler and really liked the Centennial Ale. When I tried to buy some, they were out of it! Really didn't care for the other brews but it's a worthwhile place to visit.

Fun stop out of the way in Bar Harbor. Of course Acadia Park is the attraction but if you have a couple of hours to spare the brewery is interesting and fun. I stopped in just to take a look and caught the end of a (free) tour. Lucky me, the tasting was at the end. Samples of 8 brews... More

I enjoyed this place! I did not take the tour wish I did! I had a tasting which was great! Tastings are free you just pay for the glass if you want it at the end. The glass is only 4 dollars. I really want to come back with my boyfriend and take the tour! I went with my family... More

My husband and I stopped in for a tour and tasting. Very quick tour and although informative it was a large group and hard to hear everything. They have a BBQ restaurant on site and small playground for children.

The tour consisted of your normal run-of-the-mill micro-brewery tour but. The tasting set it well apart from the others. This little brewery offer some outstanding flavors of beer. Given the tour and the tasting are free you definitely can't go wrong here. Well worth the stop while you're in Bar Harbor.

Did not do a tour but stopped here one evening during our trip to Acadia for dinner and came away very satisfied. The beer and BBQ are both outstanding and we enjoyed the outdoor eating area as well as the friendly staff. Highly recommend this place for an off the beaten path dinner and drinks evening in the Acadia area!

We were on a 3 week trip to ME (Acadia NP, whitewater rafting the Penobscot and Kennebec), NH, VT, and NY. I wanted to stop in at a few small craft/micro breweries while out there. We heard about the Atlantic Brewing Company from a local information provider, and found it despite some bad directions. The location was in a cozy... More

Didn't try the beer this time around, but found the blueberry soda to be a unique and sweet treat. A little pricey at $2/bottle (and no discount for buying a six-pack -- what's with that?), but it was unique and, thus, not so bothersome. Root beer was good, too.

Fun for even non beer drinkers! (They have local sodas made with pure cane sugar.) The free tour lasts about 20 minutes. It's limited to 25 people at a time, so ask when you arrive and plan to eat and browse the small shop if you need to wait for the next one. Allow 1.5 to 2 hours. Free sample... More
